We had a lovely afternoon enjoying this amazing weather and just relaxing in the shade at or site enjoying our books until 3:30. Then hopped in the car and headed on over to visit with Ron and Sharon a super couple we met in Willis Texas, Ashdown Arkansas and Rock Glen resort in Arkona this past spring they do post a blog occasionally and you can check them out
HERE The Princess and the Cowboy. They have a seasonal site close to Long Point and spend most of the winter in south Texas.

Ron and Sharon |
We got the full tour of their amazing site, so much to see here and all of Sharon's hobbies to display. They picked up a but of bowls balls last winter and she had done an amazing job decorating them for the garden.
Also glass bowls and dishes she pick up at yard sales
and creates flower displays, so amazing. |

mushrooms from glass bowls etc. |

then we have Ron's "Man Cave" workshop/storage shed |

miniature golf course |
nice outdoor living room too |
We had been invited for a "Weber" moment at their place, to catch up and tell lies around the campfire. So thats what we did. Only Ron did the cooking and I got to watch, bonus!

fresh Ontario Candy Corn on the campfire |
Tender fall of the bone pork ribs and baked taters |
Sharon added some baked beans she whipped up |
Well I am telling you it was very tasty supper that we thoroughly enjoyed and to finish off with a very light moist pineapple angel food cake. Boy did they spoil us!
this desert was beyond words, sorry Rick no leftovers |
Now rolled away from the table and enjoyed telling even more lies around this colorful campfire that made with his "magic" wood.
Well its getting dark and almost past my bedtime. We had a fun visit and great meal with great new friends, but need to call it a night.
Glad you stopped by and hope you can drop by again soon.
