Where are we today ?
Another great morning here at Long Point Provincial Park but kinda overcast and the waves on the beach are rolling in. No problem though we need to pack up and go. The standard coffees, computing and walkabouts. Jacks up, slide in, coach secure, car hooked up and we are on the road by 9 am. Not a long drive, only about 90 minutes on the wonderful backroads here and arrived in Plattsville at "Camp awesome" before 11 am. Got set up and a bite for lunch then Suzie headed into Kitchener to visit Gramma at the hospital for lunch. I finished the setup and puttered around with a few things here.

A wonderful easy day. Gotta love them.
ReplyDeleteYes we do love them.
DeleteLooks like a nice camp spot. What is the park called?
ReplyDeleteWe call it "Camp Awesome" John and Lea's 5 acres back yard.
DeleteDo the scallops come out nice on the grill? It doesn't take much to overcook them and then they're dry. But I like the looks of that bacon wrapped around them, maybe that keeps them juicy. Eh?
ReplyDeleteThe scallops turned out perfect, very quickly on the grill medium heat about 6 minutes.

ReplyDeleteThink I will get some scollops and grill them like that; they look delicious !!!!!
Turned out wonderful, so tasty.
DeleteLove the look of the scallops. I always tend to overcook scallops inside. I wonder how I would do outside ???
ReplyDeleteWorks great for me, they do cook quickly though and tasty awesome.
DeleteFrom perfect campsite to perfect campsite. Hope Suzie's Gramma is doing better.
ReplyDeleteThats the way we enjoy our lifestyle.
