Another nice day, the weather more of the same (overcast, then sunny, humid and hot) and enjoying every minute of it. We puttered around most of the day inside, outside, walkabouts, bike rides just kinda hanging out. If you remember back on Dec. 9th we were in Ehrenberg Arizona I took a picture of the overhead cupboard door panel that had dried out and cracked from the dry desert air, we had been in the desert for about a month. Well today I took another picture and put them together (below) to show how it magically expanded and grew back together after only a few days in the humid air of south Texas by the ocean.

After noon we had been checking out the various places to purchase fresh caught shrimp and decided we would give Alby's Seafood a try. I picked up 1/2 pound of fresh shrimp and brought them home to test freeze some, they only sell fresh caught shrimp or 1 to 2 lb frozen in a solid block with water, meaning we would have to use a whole pound at a time once thawed. These were not as large as we got in Mexico but a nice size nonetheless, I set aside 4 to sample with supper tonight. We also picked up some store made crab stuffed shrimp to try at a later date.
