Wed. Feb.2nd 2011 Casa Grande AZ

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

Well it did get cold overnight, some people had frozen water lines, we were good, just left our kitchen tap drip and all was fine. Morning coffees, computing and a walkabout the resort, this proved to me that it was cold. Boy we are sure not used to this, glad it won't last very long. We don't like wearing long pants, shoes, socks and sweat shirts, but we are strong we won't suffer too much, ( I know you really feel sorry us), it could be a lot worse.

I took a drive to check out a few stores for supplies and did not like the traffic in the city, so I explored a few short cuts, sightseeing along the way, exploring is fun.  Back home for lunch then off to the laundry room, here is can sit in the car in the sun and read my book while those amazing machines do their job. Back home Suzie folds and puts it away then we can sit in the sun outside with the rv and resort wall blocking most of the cold wind, quite comfortable even thou it was only 40f (5c) the sun is wonderful.
pressure cooker
As the afternoon cooled down it was time to go inside and start supper, and another favourite of ours tonight. I get the pressure cooker out and cook up our spare ribs and sauerkraut for 12 minutes, then put them in the oven (to cold to BBQ) and baste them with my tasty, sticky BBQ sauce until perfect, and served them up with a sweet potato, sauerkraut and some nice fresh asparagus.

fall off the bone tender
Now with supper done, chat for a while and Suzie can do the dishes, then I can put some water in our holding tank and disconnect the water line so it won't freeze, its supposed to go down to 20f (-5) overnight. Soon the warm weather will return at least we don't have to shovel it.
