Last day Cabin Camping, and wrap up a few things. Progress reports on our coach.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Beginning our last day here Cabin Camping. After morning coffee headed out for a nice walkabout the resort on an overcast and very warm morning.
Nice that the body shop ( Kropf's Kustom Auto Body) is emailing us daily updates on the status of the work on our coach. How many places would do that? Gotta love small towns. This morning received a message saying it was painted yesterday and the trim work etc, just need to be done, looks like it might be ready for us Thursday, YAHOO ! Can hardly wait to get back into our home again ! Don't get me wrong we sure are loving this cabin the porch is a real bonus and the park, but back in our own wandering home is the life we love.
I built a wrap around porch at our house
that we loved and enjoyed for 12 years.
this brings back memories
Rob and Pats' trailer on the left, Bill and Patsy's behind,
Paul and Judy the coach across
these larger cabins behind us with a loft
We had decided today being our last day here to treat ourselves for lunch, again at Skeeter Barlows in Forest. Their broasted chicken was awesome but this time wanted to try their English style fish and chips. (haddock) and Suzie their fettiucini alfredo with shrimp and a salad.  Got there just after 11 am , excellent service, friendly waitress and the food very good once again!
this the place
tasty house salad we shared
fettuccine alfredo with shrimp
Fish and chips we could have shared ,
but I pigged put and ate the whole thing,
my meal for today
After we enjoyed this amazing meal headed back to the campground, I grabbed our laundry and head to the laundromat to let those machines do their magic once again. Enjoying my new page turner A new author I discovered and really enjoy, the fast paced murder mystery detective stories.
this book is number 2 of a series, loving it.
gotta get this posting done and dive back in!
Reading on our porch then headed over to Bill and Patsy's for our last Happy hour together for a while. Nice to catch up with everyone again, but we heading out in the morning back to New Hamburg and hope we can pick up our coach.
our last Happy hour until the next time
Pat and Rob having issues with their windows, and Pat helped him out
amazing how high she can reach without a ladder,
when she wants.
That was our wrap up day here Cabin Camping and a wonderful hot sunny day it was. Things taken care of.
So read bit more on our porch enjoying this wonderful weather, though a bit windy.
In the morning we will pack up and head on for our next adventure.
Glad that you stopped in and really hope you had some wonderful weather as well and a great day.

  1. A bitter sweet farewell to 'glamping',but an awesome Welcome Home! As Dorthy proclaimed "There is no place like home"! Gosh dang - the San Diego Library does not have a single Blake Pierce novel - not one! But keep the suggestions coming, always looking for a new author.
