Last day here, really love this area and wonderful weather.,

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it.
Just another amazing day here at Bottomless Lake State park in New Mexico, and we are loving it! As usual up early about 4:30 am and got some wonderful nice quiet time and computing done. With the time zones I can  watch our morning news back home that starts at 6 am , 4 am here. so not problem here. And I get to enjoy the wonderful sun rises here as well.
sure is nice nice way to start the day
Them about 7:30 the sun is shining and a got a nice walkabout (shorts on of course) enjoying the peace and quiet and a few morning doves around the area.
love the reflections on Lea Lake
Shortly after 8 am I made trip into Roswell for a few needed supplies and checked out the Alien street lamps in town.
gotta love these street lamps downtown
Back home and Suzie had cleaned our coach inside and looks like new again. She loves our new flooring just give it a sweep and today a good washing as well with her new mop.
After a light tasty lunch I puttered around waterless wax wash, on the other side of our coach in the shade , check tire pressure and oil then got to relax for a while in the shade enjoying some page turners that we both enjoy.
another perfect day, 83 f (28c)
not too shabby
Suzie under the picnic  shelter in the shade on our site
Then soon time for an earlier supper tonight, Sunset is 5:15 pm so I thawed some cod fillets , preheat our Weber Q, and cast iron fry pan, whipped up a salad. We like this fish coating below from Ontario for fried fish and have a good supply on board.
Cask iron pan good and hot on our Q a table spoon or so of oil and pan fried our fish to perfection,  Also like to grill some lemon for a few minutes makes it much juicier.
3-4 minutes a side and perfect
yummy. tasty and healthy , loving' it
just as supper was ready the sun made a wonderful exit
what  wonderful way to wrap up a great day!
That was our amazing sunny and very warm, fall day. Hope y'all had a good one as well . We on the road in the morning heading a bit closer to the southwest Arizona that we love.

  3. Early mornings are definitely best. They certainly are peaceful because no one else is usually up yet.

  7. We think early mornings are the best time of day...even though the rest isn't bad. Looks like the park is filling in with people compared to when u got there. Sunrise/Sunset pics are beautiful and good temps. Woke up to 18 degrees here this am...brrrr

  10. I haven't been to Bottomless Lake State Park, thanks for that photo. It looks nice. Did you have good Internet there? How about TV channels - do you watch TV? I should branch out a bit more next time I'm in New Mexico. As usual your dinner looks fab - I love fish! :)

    1. Thanks Barb, It is a nice small park, the internet was excellent, no problems there, We use our satellite dish for TV. Did not put our antenna up this time, but some other people did. Lots of great parks to explore here in New Mexico.
