Where are we today ?
Well today was a wonderful fun day weather wise. Started out good with a few early morning walkabouts. Such perfect weather we are having.A quick trip to Yuma pick us a few things and were going to shampoo our carpets. Getting ready and we had major wind come over the area. Wow it was amazing and did not let up for most of the day. So we packed things back up and will do it another day.
We had a lot of family stuff going on today but will get through it.
But did get outside for some fresh air for a while this afternoon.

I think we have different definitions of "perfect" weather. But, each to their own, of course. That kind of wind is one of the reasons we don't like SE Texas in the winter. At least you're getting decent temperatures now.

We have only had a few windy days all winter so can't complain.
DeleteSunshine and blue skies everyday is pretty close to perfect weather for us.
And now temps in the high 80's is even more perfect for me.

ReplyDeleteButt Rub is a tasty mixture of spices that you rub into the meat for extra flavor, The longer it sits refrigerated the tastier it gets. Yummy !

DeleteThe wind blew through the Palm Springs area too. And it gusted strong at times. Once blustered though, it turned into a nice, slow breeze.

DeleteSorry to hear about the family issues. Family definitely does come first and we do what needs to be done. They just said one more day of the wind and then it's supposed to calm down again. Thank goodness.

First of all I hope your family issues are resolving. It is never easy being 2,000 plus miles away and trying to take care of things on the phone.
ReplyDeleteThe wind hit us here also, LaPosa South, we came back last evening to our furniture laying on its side covered in the rug. The winds are with us today, also. Still beautiful here and we are enjoying everything about it.
