Where are we today ?
What can I say? Just more great weather. I am sure you are tired of hearing about it. but we are not. In the low 80's f today but I have repairs to do. No problem I enjoy puttering around.A quick trip to Yuma for a few things and home to begin puttering about.
these look like water tanks whadda think Patsy? |
I bought a trailer wiring kit $15.00 and hooked it into the coach tail lights. Yahoo our towed now has brake lights and turn signals. Easy Cheap fix and we good to go! Another issue was our rear air conditioner not working at all? Suzie suggested I check the thermostat. Ok, did that and used a contact cleaner. Now it works too! Sure is nice to have Suzie here with her wisdom!
Took about 5 hours puttering around but was very productive and saved lot of money. But we do have the time.
Levelling jack issue, heard back from Jason. The parts are on order and should be here next week. Get that problem resolved as well. Considering our coach is 16 years old we are still lucky to even get the parts. Just takes a while.
Finally done with stuff, cleaned up and tools away and I can get some afternoon reading done in the shade for a bit.
Then an easy supper, a couple grilled turkey garlic sausage(from Ontario), fresh asparagus (from Mexico) and a salad mostly from Mexico. It was excellent!
sure did the trick |
What great day we had and of course wonderful weather. Thanks for stopping in and hope you had an amazing day as well.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Fall and Winter..
Looks like several repairs were easy fixes. That's always a good thing. Hope the levels get fixed easily and not with a huge output of cash. Love the weather!
ReplyDeleteLike the smaller repairs, those I can handle.
DeleteDon't think it will be too bad for the levellers.
We will see.
Always good when repair efforts pay off with success.
ReplyDeleteYes I like those kind of days.
DeleteWhen we had our MH, our towed lost power also. I remember Paul bought some type of trailer wiring kit also and it did the trick. Glad you are in busy again.
ReplyDeleteThere is always a way to fix things sometimes pretty easily.
DeleteI have an electrical problem in my coach right now. Will have to get someone to come an check it out. Electrical problems can be difficult to find. And dang, you went and did it again. . . you made me hungry!!
ReplyDeleteThey sure can be difficult especially in a motorhome.
DeleteJoe always says, "I have more time than money." Susie and I are quite lucky to have you guys!
ReplyDeleteThat's right we too have more time that money.
DeleteI think you're lucky to have an older coach with level jacks. The newer MH's seem to have all adopted cheaper jacks that are very troublesome and prone to frequent failures. I'm thinking 16 years of use before a problem is a good run. Now you'll be ready for the next 16 years!
ReplyDeleteThat's what we hoping for!
DeleteIt's nice to see that Susie's input paid off! Dinner looks great as usual.
ReplyDeleteAny help I can get is good.
DeleteNever a dull moment, eh? Nice work with the electrical fix.
ReplyDeleteAlways something to keep us busy.
DeleteGreat job on your creative fixes. You could open up an 'Our Awesome Handyman' shop at Pilot Knob. Save Travels!
ReplyDeleteThese were easy fixes, there is a lot that I can't do.
DeleteYou keep on making me consider getting an outside grill again. It was a nice way to cook many things.
ReplyDeleteI love cooking outside especially living this lifestyle we are outside pretty well everyday, and the food just tastes better.
