Cocopah Water tower for Patsy |
A windy day passing by the Imperial Sand Dunes we having sand drifts across the interstate.
We left at 10:20 am and arrived at the Hot Spring in Holtville at 10:50 sixty miles down the road, pretty good eh, but gained an hour with the time zones.
Now here we set up near our friends, very hot and sunny. Awning out next to no wind gotta love it. The reason we are here was to check out the Carrot Festival and Parade tomorrow. But we find out after the Parade over to the Ranch for an afternoon party, bring a dish. Ok we have been there a couple times before and sounds like fun.
So a quick trip to town for supplies and back home to enjoy reading in the shade for a while.

Things were discussed and was decided that 6 or us would go to Barbara Worth Resort and Country club in town for the friday night chicken wing deal again. $5.00 for a bucket of 20 excellent wings (celery, carrots and dip included) and $2.00 beers or margaritas. $2.00 for a large french fry too. The 2 of us had a feast could barely finish for $13.00 including 3 beers too.
