Another productive day, the end is in sight.

Where are we today ?
Another wonderful day here weather wise. Temps to 32c (89 f), Chances of rain etc. but  did not happen here+ bonus! Early morning sunrise below was a bit cloudy but got better by mid morning.
Dropped Suzie off at her Dad's around 10 am they have stuff to do. Then made a trip to the Thrift store from the house and off to Kitchener to get our car "Oil Sprayed" (undercoating) a real good solution to help our vehicles from rusting out here in Ontario with all the salt they put on the roads to make winter driving safer. We have had it done a couple times before, but this is the first winter we  had to actually be here and had to drive in this stuff with this car. Had our coach done a few years ago too.
They have been in business in this are for years (check their website here if you are in the area) and have a great facility No appointments. Drive in pay for the service about $80.00 drive to the door, and we do not even need to get out of the vehicle. open hood, trunk doors etc. They spray it all, drive on the hoist, lift the car, they spray underneath, lower the hoist and clean your windows. Away you go and they do an amazing job. I have been bringing vehicles here for years and sure is worth the money.
this the place
very well organized
After here back to her Dad's house in New Hamburg, another trip to the thrift store and vacuum the downstairs carpets and floors and the 3 upstairs bedrooms. Will finish up tomorrow after the rest of the items are removed from the house.
Back to Plattsville hop on the lawn mowing machine and got another hour grass cutting before Suzie came home.
Tonight a couple chicken kabobs that I had marinated and assembled, to grill on our Weber Q. Recipe you can click here or check my recipe blog top right sidebar.
ready to grill
tasty salad and we good to go
Just another productive day, and all is coming together . Even had a few minutes to read my Kobo, couple chapters.
Thanks again for stopping by and hope your weather was wonderful too.

  1. We've never had to put a spray underneath. It's probably because we've never lived in a place with that much snow. I guess we can say, thank goodness for that.

Sounds like you really are winding down. You've been good to be there for your family.

    1. Its is all the salt they put on the roads here that is very hard on vehicles and most will be scrap in about 10-15 years.

  2. Sounds like a good idea to get your car oil sprayed, most especially after the last couple months. You are on the countdown to having the house in perfect condition for the new owners.

    1. It is surprising how much the oil spraying protects the vehicles.

  3. Never heard of oil spray before, it certainly makes sense. Probably can't be done in the US because I'm sure there are some regulations to prevent it.

    1. They use environmentally friendly products now, so should be good there too.
