Where are we today ?
Plattsville Ontario Canada
This morning we on the move again. Dropped Suzie at her Mom and Dad's for 7:30 this morning and headed back to Sicard's Rv near Hamilton Ontario to exchange our toilet repair parts for the new Dometic toilet for only $9.00 more than the repair parts for a 16 year old toilet. I will give more details later when I get a chance to install it. Another 3 hour return trip but worked it into our schedule.Back here just after 11 am made a couple sandwiches for our lunch and picked up Suzie just after noon. We had some errands to run in Kitchener then back to New Hamburg, she had things to clear up with the incoming health care.
Getting things done here we hang out in their room chatted a bit with her Mom and Dad and Uncle Clare and Cathy were here too. Busy afternoon.
right outside their room a a couple bird feeders and these yellow birds, finches I believe. |
chicken on the Weber Q |
just added a couple blackberries, raspberries and jalapeño peppers did the trick |
Thanks for stopping by again, always enjoy the company.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.
Dinner looks delicious - male Goldfinches on the feeder.
ReplyDeleteThanks Larry, was not sure what they were for sure.
DeleteHope you have a great week-end!
ReplyDeleteWe will for sure !
DeleteYup, goldfinches. They love to ear niger seed. Lot's of driving ( ? 6 hours total ) for that toilet but I think it was a good move on your part.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a good move I am sure.
DeleteIt nice to know that Suzie's folks are now safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteHope you are able to snag your favourite spot at Rock Glen and enjoy the long weekend. Don't forget to use the gym.
Be Safe!
It's about time.
Tha spot was taken but this is another favorite of ours.
DeleteThe gym for sure.
Not sure how much peace and quiet you'll get over a holiday week-end but hopefully you'll be able to relax and read.
ReplyDeleteWe have a very large quiet site, and just getting away is relaxing. Relaxing and reading will be done too.
Delete16 years is a good run for a toilet. Hope your install of the new one goes quick and easy.
ReplyDeleteThe toilet still works fine just a gasket to keep the water in the bowl, but have to purchase the whole mechanism
DeleteWonder what it's going to feel like to really get on the road again. I bet you're ready for it.
ReplyDeleteIt will be awesome! We sure are ready.....
