Where are we today ?

Plattsville Ontario

           Not that we are bragging but this place here  (Camp Awesome) is heaven on earth. Small village no neighbors with peace and quiet. But we are here for things to do in the area. Morning walkabouts around town to the garage. Chat with the guys and a few neighbors on the way home before 8 am.

        The I ran a few errands then made up some tuna, salmon and egg salad make sandwiches tomoorw to feed the family help lunch for the auction. Its gonna  be a very long, busy day for us.           After about 30 minutes of grass mowing this morning, I made Suzie a toasted western sandwich and a mushroom omelet for her Mom for lunch. Ran them into to town then stopped by to visit my Ma. Wish here Happy Mother's Day and gave her small plant to smell up her room.

       From here ran to her Mom and Dads house to give the grass a final mowing. Not a  big yard (just a big house!) and the self propelled mower makes it quick and easy.

     Then Plattsville I hopped on the Ferris major, mower and within in an hour had a couple acres mowed. Really loving the summer time weather here in May! 84 f! sunshine, no wind and no clouds.

        As I wound things up Suzie arrived back home and we decided to wander down to the Trails Edge in Town and indulge for a change.

       Only three blocks away and the outdoor patio is inviting.

       Now to indulge on something that we really enjoy here, is the wonderful chicken wings and fresh cut fries. Used to do them, at home but now we just save them for a feast when we go out. The wings were great as usual as were the fresh cut fries, celery carrots and dips (blue cheese for me) == so much for the healthy eating but we can cheat once in a while. Oh of course I took my hot sauce to take their suicide sauce and kick it up  a few notches. Never hot enough for me.

        Back home was still early so another 45 minutes and I finished mowing the rest of the 5 acres here. Gonna be busy for the next few days with the auction and cleanup plus the weather here is perfect.

       All done the day, sealed and delivered made it through another day. Gonna be on the go tomorrow from sunrise  to sunset, not likely gonna be a posting tomorrow.
