Where are we today ?
A very nice cool night, great for sleeping with the windows open a bit and no heat required.This morning a bit chilly so fired up our Mr. Heater for a few minutes and we are good to go.
So nice and quiet here now, everybody gone after the weekend we all by ourselves! Think we are in heaven!

Got my errands done and home shortly after 10 am. Chat with Suzie, a bite for lunch then grabbed the laundry she had sorted and around the corner to the Laundromat. Amazing how I can drop in 3 loads of laundry, sit in the car for 20 minutes read my e-reader. Take the laundry and drop in the dryer (read more in the warm sun) for 45 minutes and before I know it Laundry done! Pack it up and take home for her to fold and put away. All that for only $7.00. by 2 pm, now we have the rest of the day free. What a team we are!
Well almost free we got in the mood to purge some of our stuff. Sorted some clothes etc,, and disposed of them in town.
By now time for supper so put assembled a salad, fired up our Weber Q and grilled a couple Turkey Burgers with onion and parsley and some more fresh asparagus.

Thanks for taking a peek again today, even though its cooler (12c =53F) it still feels real good to be back in our home.

Oh gracious. I totally forgot about Giant Tiger. We used to have one here in Canton, but it has been gone for years and years. Great store with lots of bargains.

DeleteIt seems great minds think alike. I did the laundry as well today but I also folded the clothes. By folding them as soon as they come out of the dryer they have less wrinkles. Try it George you might like it.

It's about time.
I fold the few items that count but sock, underwear, sweat pants and towels can can done at home.She has never complained once in all these years and we do not own an iron.
DeleteSo wonderful when all the week-enders go home. Almost all of our snowbirds are gone from our park and it's so quiet its just amazing. And we won't fill up for this long week-end which is also nice.

DeleteSome days life is really great. Our park cleared out as well and so nice to walk the dogs with no worries of vehicle after vehicle passing by.

DeleteThe weekenders certainly deserve to "have their fun," but it is a relief when they go home! :-)
