Wrap up our last day here with more great weather.

Where are we today ?

Arkona Ontario

        Just more sunshine and warm weather today. Nothing too exciting just living the good life. Chat with a few people and walkabouts then Suzie sent me packing to do a couple loads of laundry. A couple minutes away into town (Arkona), two loads in the machines while I relax in the car with my book, (doing laundry is a hard job!)
        Then back home to putter around a bit, get some stuff ready to hit the road in the morning, check tires, dust vacuum, thats about it. Then Vanesa dropped in, had trouble with setting up their satellite dish. So I whipped over there, and in 30 minutes had things hooked up and a good signal (90%) or so.
        Now 3:30 checked out Mother (Canada) Goose on her nest. Lotsa feathers but looks like she has gone out for lunch. Nobody home! Lotsa feathers covering the eggs and they are gone. A while later they were back home and on the nest.

         I prepped our Cornish hen and 1/2 of our monster sweet potato for the Weber. During Happy Hour fired up the grill and put the chicken and sweet taters on, both take about and hour. Supper cooked, Happy hour done, send everybody home, good timing.

        Then whipped up a salad, lite cottage cheese for dressing and all is good. Suzie cleaned up the dishes and we relaxed for a bit outside after supper. Our friend Larry dropped in for a chat to wind down the rest of the evening, then roll up our awning, BBQ away and stow the chairs just takes a few minutes. Another awesome day!
        Just as we are heading in happened to notice a nice sunset happening outside out living room window, not to bad  for our location.
