Where are we today ?
Another wonderful day, temps in the mid 70's (24c) for those who don't do this metric stuff. No plans today, just enjoy the great weather. But then at noon Bob and Mary stopped by, having an issue with their satellite dish and receiver. Asked if I could help. No problem lets see what we can do.
So headed up to their seasonal site to see if we can help. Now after 4 hours testing and being frustrated established that they need a new L and B for their dish.
If nothing else was accomplished we at least got to visit with them for a while and learn a bit more about the system.
Suzie and Maggie keeping warm last night |
Tonight we had planned to do a pork schnitzel on a bun with a tossed salad. Just because we love our hand breaded schnitzel that is prepped here at the butcher shop in town. And fresh baked kaiser buns from their bakery.
Supper done then enjoy a wonderful warm evening until it gets too cool and too dark to read outside. About 8:30 pm or so. Soon bedtime anyway.
Thanks for dropping by again. Maybe not too exciting for you, but we had a great day visiting, fresh air and working our brains trying to solve a problem.

DeleteIt's certainly better to have those warm days than the cold days some folks are experiencing!

DeleteYou are always a good neighbor! So glad your are enjoying the nice weather.
ReplyDeleteCamping is about good friends and neighbors.
DeleteOnce about 10 years ago in Mexico at Playa Los Glorias ( Mr. Moro's ) we discovered our LNB needed replacing. Can you believe that Star Choice actually mailed us a new one. Great service then and now as Shaw.
ReplyDeleteWe agree, great service from Shaw.
DeleteAlways up for a good happy hour after a hard day. Hit a 100 here yesterday a bit to hot for my liking. Three weeks til we are Canada bound and I'm ready. Got to add schnitzel to my list along with my garlic sausage, Swiss Chalet sauce, and Tim's coffee. Things are getting pretty scarce, think it's my cue for leaving. Nice seeing Suzie is getting her puppy fix, with a cute little guy at that. Have a great Saturday!
ReplyDeleteJust some things we can't get in the USA. So nice that you guys can make the transition.
