Where are we today ?
This morning another wonderful sunrise, and it is right on our patio by 7:00 am. Warm sunshine, no wind does it get much better? Think not. Temps today in the mid 70'sf (23c) and hardly any wind.
Computing, walkabouts, chat with people here and a short trip to town for stuff. Afternoon we really got to enjoy our books for a while in the shade and sun and check out the repairs to a few more broken water lines. It was a cold long winter here with not much snow so the frost went much deeper causing more water problems.

Enjoyed a nice afternoon of reading, then about 4 o'clock over to Emile and Moniques' for our social hour. Nice that we have free days and get together for a short while in the late afternoon and chat for a bit. Coffee, tea, water, pop or whatever we choose for refreshment.
Then time to fire up our Weber and grill a nice salmon fillet for supper, a rice pilaf, mixed frozen veggies and some sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Made for a very tasty supper.

After supper still quite warm and after a short walkabout read for a while longer. Just love it when we have daylight until after 8 pm.

We are with you on the long light days. Here in Ohio it is still light at 8:30. Love it!

DeleteIt's been in the 80's around here. I certainly hope we're not getting our summer now and the next few months are going to be fall-like.

DeleteUsually what has been in Ontario comes our way afterwards. (at least the rain does) So I sure hope and pray the nice temps will come our way as well. Don't keep it all to yourself please.
