Where are we today ?
We have a few projects that I can volunteer for today. Joe is disposing of his old metal garden shed and we are moving a nice new "park friendly" shed to Joe and Nancy's site.
old shed going to the dump |
Now we are at the site to move this garden shed. Lotsa help here, its a big one 10 ft by 12 ft.
raise on a few blocks with the tractor |
slide on the trailer |
Now at Joe and Nancy's place, just slide it off the trailer and level into place.
looking good, now Joe has his "MAN CAVE"! |
bird nest in the cabin roof |
To the grill I added a jalapeño pepper for me, a couple fresh tomatoes topped with bacon and cheese, whipped up a rice pilaf and some cauliflower with cheese sauce for a very tatsy supper.
again hit the spot, made Suzie happy. |

I've seen those cedar planked salmon and have never tried them .. Did you pick it up on sale?
ReplyDeleteYou should try, different spices and so tasty!
DeleteNot on sale but pretty reasonable for a treat.
Our "never-wrong" weatherman is predicting that we will have gorgeous weather after the current showers pass by. So, we're guessing that we'll stop complaining for a while after Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is time for your rain to stop, good luck.
DeleteAlways fun to watch work. Especially when there are tractors involved.
ReplyDeleteI helped a little and watched more.
DeleteGlad it is warming up for you, I still can't believe you had frost in the morning. I think it is warmer here than in Ontario which is pretty funny considering how much further north we are. That salmon looked delicious!

The cold frosty weather is gone for now, into a heat wave.
DeleteI just have to laugh. Every time there is something outdoors going on like moving a shed, changing a tire, etc. it seems to draw the men out. Must be a bonding thing...lol
ReplyDeleteWe love planked salmon. We get it at our grocery store here in Ohio...yummmmmy!
The more help the easier it goes and more fun.
DeleteAlways lots of help when you need it too.
The salmon is Excellent.
Yeee Haw.....the old Billy Bob is here. I might be slow, but I do finally git to where I was go'n. Sorry it took me so long to "follow" your wonderful blog. I'm think'n I'm gonna like it here.
ReplyDeleteHey Billy Bob welcome aboard, glad to have ya!
DeleteLove following you and your great adventures and funny stories, around south Texas, areas that we just love.
I don't think I've ever seen that Cedar Planked Salmon in our stores here. Lots of fresh salmon of course, guess I'll have to buy my own cedar plank!
ReplyDeleteThat would work to, but this is easier.
DeleteBesides this is Atlantic Salmon.
We purchase our cedar planks in small bundles and our salmon separately. Oh so yummy.
ReplyDeleteYes very tasty.
DeleteHard to get good salmon and decent cedar planks, so this works great for us.
I agree with Rick, never seen it pre planked like that. Of course we do have great salmon here in BC and cedar planks are to be found at Costco.
ReplyDeleteYes can do that but this is a real easy quick supper.
