Thursday, more friends camping here and awesome weather!

Where are we today ?
Forgot to mention that yesterday we helped Trish "unwinterize" their trailer. Flush the system and get hot water working. Not a real big deal. But the big problem was, I went back to our coach to get some tools and closed our outside door. Not normally a problem right?
The real problem was we have a dead bolt on our screen door. So close the outside door and it hooks to the screen door and then ! Cannot open our door! We have a problem.
Well walking by was a new fellow rver (Ron) we have met and volunteered ( actually insisted) to crawl in our window to unlock the deadbolt and let us in.  First time in 7 years that we have done that. I could have crawled in and done it too. But some people just really like to be helpful. Thanks Ron!
Now this morning was wonderfully warm outside and walking about spotted this small wet spot in the road behind us. Looked like a mini volcano! Another broken water line down below the roadway some where. They turned the water off again and started to repair a couple more broken water lines. No problem we have water in our fresh water tank!
Then outside with coffees, a couple here from Thunder Bay Ontario dropped by to chat. Nancy and Peter. Supper couple here for her brother's funeral. But had anice place to stay and hang out.
Then again it was such a wonderful day and got in the mood to wax a bit of our coach with Meguiar's again. The more I wax it the better it looks. So shiny for a 14 year old coach, makes me feel real good. And it is so easy to use. Did most of the one side of our coach in 20 minutes.
Work done and can now relax and read for a while. Gotta love this lifestyle, no pressure no hurry.
Then before we know it time for "Happy Hour" (social hour). Emile and Monquie stopped in along with Harry and Jackie (they just arrived today at the park), So much fun, stories, and catching up to do we really enjoy these afternoon social times.
Happy Hour
Pretty soon the hour is over, we head our own ways and make supper. Tonight I fired up our Weber as usual. Got Suzie hooked on the potato pockets and grill some very tasty garlic farmer's sausage for supper.
add some sauerkraut and we have yummy supper
That's it again. lotsa company, old friends and new, good times and great food. Cooked by your's truly. (at least Suzie and I enjoy it). Oh almost forgot to tell you temps in the 70's (22c) today almost perfect! I would like a bit warmer but sure not complaining.
Time to relax a bit more then we will call it a night.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you do it again soon.

  5. I know someone else that has also had the same locking problem with their motorhome. Scary thought but good someone was there to crawl through the window. It was also a good thing that the window was locked!!

    1. I could have crawled in no real problem, but Ron insisted. We almost always have at least one window unlocked unless we go away. Worked out well anyway.

  6. I really need you to come work on our motorhome. It is taking me FOREVER to get ours polished and then I still have to wax. What kind of buffer are you using?

    1. I am using a 6 inch electric palm polisher. Easy to use and lightweight does a great job.
Very wet polishing compound and goes pretty quick.

  7. Those electric polishers sure make the job easier. Spring has sprung.
