Where are we today ?
Hey we having awesome weather again! Last night windows open, fantastic fan going, yep its sure is nice. Oh yeah we had some very heavy rain, thunder and lightning (so I am told). Me I hear nothing! Sleep like a log for 6-7 hours.
So morning walkabouts then Suzie tells me laundry day. Ok no problem she sorts the stuff and I can walk the 75 feet to put in the washers here. Walked back an forth a few times , got more exercise and three loads of laundry washed and dried $7:50 total. Can't beat that with a stick can ya?
no crowds here at our laundry, well campground not busy either. |
Soon laundry done and I gonna prep a sweet potato and brusel sprouts on our Weber Q to go with a couple smoked pork chops for supper. Sliced up the sweet potato and prepped af few brusel sprouts, tossed in olive oil and sprinkled with some Mrs. Dash, Garlic and herb spices.
relaxing in the shade with our books for a while |
then it's "Beer 30", no happy hour so we have our own |
ready to eat ? |
that's it so tasty and tender |
That was it for a wonderful almost summer day, got stuff done, visit for a bit and cooked a tasty supper.
Gonna get hotter again for the next few days, just lovin' it.
Glad you could stop in too, anytime you are in the neighbor hood drop in.

I'm so glad you having good weather! I learned something new...I had no idea I could just put the sweet tators and Brussels sprouts directly on the grill...good to know!
ReplyDeleteCan cook just about anything directly on the grill of a Weber, practice and experimenting really helps.
DeleteDa gum it, you gonna talk me into that Webber yet, ain't ya. I'm still catch'n stuff on fire just like before. Ain't no low an slow on my Walmart Special. Well, yeah there is, but I modified that option so's I can burn hell out a steak.
ReplyDeleteThat Weber can cook on High to if ya like, but does a great job on low too, depending what you cooking.
DeleteI think you should contact Weber Company and see if you can get a commission on your sales. I'm envious of your good weather. South Dakota weather is weird - sunny morning and afternoon brings in big black clouds, thunder, lightening and flash flood warnings.
ReplyDeleteNo commissions, but they do appreciate it.
DeleteNot nice weather you having hopefully it will get better soon.
When you are "The Weber "Q" Man of Blogland" you can always cook up great meals. I need more practice just to get close but I'm working on it. Be Safe and Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.
A little practice and all will be good cooking on your Weber Q.
DeleteGood for Jerry, love our chicken on the Weber Q.
ReplyDeleteI love warm sunny days and it looks like we have many of those to come. Well, after today we do.
ReplyDeleteGood for you guys, finally!
DeleteI guess I'll just have to start grilling veggies and sweet potatoes on my Weber to see how they turn out. Yours sure look good!
ReplyDeleteI like to cook everything on the grill, less mess and dirty dishes.
DeleteBut then you have to clean the grill itself! Now that is a chore. Glad the sun and heat are coming your way.
ReplyDeleteThe grill cleans itself, thats why the preheat and a quick brush. Its a Weber pretty well cleans itself. Have only cleaned it once in three years not so hard to do.
