just look out the window and there it is
Another wonderful sleep last night, the winds died down overnight windows open, perfect. Now with our dining room window facing east caught a vey nice sunrise shortly after 6 am. Gonna be an awesome day !
no buddy camped in the valley yet
Got a few nice walkabouts the park this morning enjoying the warm sunshine and fresh air. Still pretty quiet at this time of day, but did chat with a couple of people.
Puttered a round for a while and more walkabouts. Chatted with a few more people have not seen since last year, nice to see everyone healthy and doing well.
a few kids in the playground
About 10 am we headed into Arkona Seniors Centre to check out the yard sale for a bit, but nothing there that we could not do without.
this site we have now nice morning sun and most of the day
On another walkabout noticed this Garden shed that did not survive yesterdays high winds Kinda blew apart and most of it in the pond. oops. Visions of Dorothy and Toto....
it was there yesterday morning
it did not do well at all with the high winds
Back to the campground another walkabout, chat with a few more people and home to pick up Suzie, She wanted to go to the clubhouse, they are having a BBQ lunch. A nice treat, Hamburgers 3 bucks, Hot dogs 2 bucks includes standard toppings, fresh popcorn and fruit punch. And of course chatted with a few more people and Gerry, met their daughter Chantelle and the new grand daughter. Melinda even stopped by for a bit, of course Gerry working, but took time to eat, but Melinda still working no break for this girl, she never stops.
Paul doing a good job flipping burgers
Gerry is Missing Suzie's hugs
a nice lunch for 3 bucks
Gerry a happy grandpa
Now we relaxed for a while in the afternoon on our new site. It did get up to 80F (26C) and very little wind . Enjoying our e-readers. I finished another page turner and dove right into the next one in this series by Rick Mofina this is the 3rd one action filled.
Soon time for supper so I fired up our Weber Q and made a tasty salad while it preheated. The other day I picked up a couple of store made stuffed pork chops on sale 1/2 price $2.75 for 2, a good deal so thought we would try them out for a change.
not long on our Weber Q
these chops were excellent
and of course more leftovers
After supper another walkabout take the garbage out and back home for the night. Did better today 4 miles, no workout or swimming for me on the weekend these facilities are pretty busy.
these ladies walking their 6 dogs
nice to see the daffodils on this empty site
So now we can relax outside finish this posting enjoying the warm evening weather and wave at the people on the first wagon ride of the season, pretty good turnout.
Mike be the captain
gotta wave at them. part of the fun
That was our fun day, really enjoying this weather today, gonna wrap this up now, still in shorts and t-shirts 7:45 pm and down to 72F (22C). Wanna get back in my new book that I started before supper, before time to head back inside for the night.
Thanks for dropping by and hope y'all had a wonderful day as well.

  1. Sounds like a really great day and some good foods for your dinner. I like how rich and green the yards are,,didn't think they would be that green this early. Hey, 4 miles is a good walk about.
