More wonderful hot weather, doctors appointments and a visitation.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Very warm again last night windows open, fantastic fan going and a great sleep.
With the later sunsets we going to bed a bit later and sleeping in a bit later at 5;30 am the sun was shining in our bedroom window, awesome !  Darn missed a nice sunrise.
But did get our coffees taken care of and a nice walk about town for a couple of miles. Then I went to a seamstress in Bright to have a pair of pants hemmed, Got this suit  from my son in law over a year ago for my mom's funeral when we flew home in January from Yuma AZ. He is much taller than me but this fits me and was going to the thrift store, just like new!  A very nice suit better than any of my old ones. So this lady here can do a nice job and it will be good to go for a wedding we have in Niagara Falls New York this weekend.
Right  after the seamstress, I was back home to pick up Suzie and head to Stratford Ontario , only 1/2 hour away. Visitation at a funeral home for the father of some good friends, fellow rver's and bloggers. Bill (his Father) and Patsy. For 10 am. We also saw our good friends Rob and Pat there as well from Durham Ontario. We could not stay for the following funeral service, Suzie had an appointment at a clinc here in Stratford at 11:40 am.
That taken care of we back home for a light lunch and then Suzie picked up her dad at 1:45 to take him to Kitchener for some more tests. While she was gone I hopped on the mower to finish cutting the rear couple of acres here.
just over an hour and all done for a few more days
it grows so fast at this time of year
My chores done for the day and began another new book on my Kobo. Waiting for Suzie to return, During the day the temperature under our awnings was 102 F (38C) Inside the coach only 92 F (33C). But we outside in the shade with alight breeze and relaxing no problem here.. If we need to turn on our AC we will disconnect from our 15 amp plug and fire up our generator, maybe, maybe not. Will see how it cools down later. Quite comfortable out here right now.
my new book today, always a good read
this is easy to take
For supper tonight gonna fry ip the last of our Yellow perch fillets in out Fry Daddy. to go with a tasty salad.
love these fresh yellow perch fillets
love our Fry daddy
only a few minutes and done to perfection
That was our very warm spring / almost summer day. getting things done and enjoying this amazing weather. Ok here its is almost 8 pm  82f out side and 88F inside. Suzie thinks we should fire up our genny and can turn on both a/c's, just because we can,  and in no time will be much cooler inside for the night. And in less than and hour 75 f inside, almost feels cold  !
Want to thank ya'll for dropping by and hope you had great one as well.

  2. I sure like being outside, but hot is hot. I agree with Suzi 80+ is not sleeping weather! Perch were plentiful in the lakes/ponds growing up in Washington,we had them often. Still brings back fond memories of fishing in the potholes. BTW the meat is firm enough to make a decent fish taco.

  4. WOW you finished mowing for a couple days. You fish fry looks really good. At least it cools down at night but I can see Suzi's point to cool it down inside for sleeping. By Sunday we will be at 107F not happy about that

  5. Nice post. I enjoyed it all - the fish, the book on your Kobo, the yard mowing (wow - that is a lot to mow) and the map. We know some of that area with son's in-laws living in Petrolia. Been to the area you show on the map, so that is fun. Our late daughter-in-law went to university at St. Catherines.
