Doing what we are here to do, on a very foggy day.

Where are we today ?
Warmer today above freezing but very foggy all day long. The damp air bothers my arthritis, but we are busy, so keeps my mind off it.
Went to visit my Ma this morning, checked out her hearing aide and got it all fixed up. Had a nice visit, with her while she was doing her laundry and chatting with a friend. Tim Hortons had supplied fresh banana muffins and coffee so we indulged. Yep like free.
Dropped some stuff from the house at the Salvation Army and another car load of partial paint cans at the recycle centre in Waterloo.
kinda like this all day long
Back at the house in New Hamburg a light lunch and continue to purge, Her Dad was her for a bit sorting, and setting stuff out for the large garbage pickup tomorrow.
About 4:30 we called it quits. No walkabouts today but got a good work out on the stairs, helping Suzie sort stuff.
Time to take it easy, whip up a very tasty spaghetti sauce with ground turkey, mushrooms, yellow peppers, onions, garlic, celery and brown rice spaghetti noodles. Add that to a salad and split a garlic cheese bun from the bakery we have a feast.
yummy, took care of my craving.
Rain again tomorrow but the weekend and next week looks amazing, Really hope the weather guessers have it right this time.
That was our excitement today, hope you had a fun day too.
Nice for you to stop by for a visit, you always welcome here.

Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.

    1. Those are actually the best days, with no excitement, don't mind them at all.

  3. Strange to see the fog when I was so used to snow & melting snow...LOL ..You must be about seeing the end of the tunnel with the sort and clear out of the house - I hope your "weather guesses" are correct and you have some warmer weather soon.....

    1. Rather the fog than the cold and snow, will be nice soon.

  4. We hope the Canadian Weather Guessers do a good job and have early summer weather by the time we get home in two weeks. The US Weather Guessers are giving a bleak forecast into the weekend heading your way. Watch the Sky!
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  5. Eventually all the purging will be behind and then you'll wonder what to do.

    1. Always have something to do, spending time together is our number one favorite thing then reading, and moving about the campgrounds.

  6. Cleaning out a parents home must be very difficult for you guys and even more so for the parents.

    1. It is a chore but needs to be done, a lot of memories from Suzie' childhood.

  8. Purging is not fun and we kids were really lucky because my Mom was a regular purger and kind of kept Dad in line also. One of the joys of the RV living is not a whole lot of junk. Hoping for great weather for you. Ours down here in AZ has been beautiful.

    1. My mother was pretty good at purging as well, even ourselves did pretty good. And like you said with Rv living we have very limited space.
Have been watching the weather that we are missing there, soon be much better here.
