Thunder, lightening,rain and warmer temps, making progress in leaps and bounds.

Where are we today ?

          Overnight and early this morning we had thunderstorms. Thunder, lightning and major downpours of rain, sure is cleaning things up around here. Temp at 4:30 this morning was 57 f (14c), wonderful!
         By daylight rain mostly was stopped and thats good. But the winds picked up and tempertaure dropped to about 8c (46f) but still cold winds. But heck much better than brutal minus 30c (-22f) we have had.
         This week has been a blessing in disguise.  Where Suzie's Mom is staying they have been in a lockdown. No visitors at all with a major virus (quarantine) in her facility. So Suzie and her Dad could not visit at all. That being the case we have all been busy here getting things together for the auction sale here May 8th. Another all day affair getting there in leaps and bounds.
          Downstairs kitchen and upstairs kitchen, packing sorting and displaying the tables in the garage. Dishes, utensils, you name it all you could ever want and more. Yep we have stuff to sell! If you are around drop on by the link for the auction is HERE.

        Then there is a house full of furniture as well, plus his 1999 Chevy s-10 pickup that will be auctioned off as well, sold as is. Nice little truck , great for a handy man.

         I did manage to get to the walking track for about 45 minutes this afternoon, just to get out. Had to set our satellite dish back up the blew over, from the high winds and soft ground not holding our stakes very well.
        By now its 4:30 pm , where did the day go?  Time to stop fire up our Weber Q, grill a turkey breast to go with our salad and cranberries.

       That was it, we feel we are making good progress while we had the time. Lockdown is now over at the hospital so now Suzie and her Dad can go visit her mom in the afternoons. 
        Glad that you could take the time for a quick peek today, not exciting for you but pretty exciting for us, another day closer to the finish line and we will all win the race!
