Where are we today ?
Sunshine warmer weather and all is wonderful. Enjoying the much warmer weather today and taking advantage of it.We both puttered around this morning just doing some more purging, then after a bite for lunch Suzie took her Dad to the hospital in Kitchener to visit her mom. Its been almost 2 weeks with the virus lock down and they have not been to see her for a while.
While they were gone I got to play outside, clean up the yard for a bit and a much needed vacuum of our car.
nice to clen th car on a sunny warm day |

such a nice easy, tasty and quick meal |
Well heck we have never been to a roller Derby and its only couple blocks away so lets go check it out always wanted to go to one. For their website click HERE .
Not sure how they play but it is very fast paced, quite exciting and they have a lot of fans.
It was not cheap in by our standards twelve dollars per person, but it was another thing on our bucket list to do do. Now we did it, been there done that and even enjoyed it too.
Don't know the rules or how they play but the young ladies sure got a good workout.
Nicest sunset since we have been back here this year, perfect ending to a perfect day.

half time entertainment |
The game was fun but we left after the first game (2 hours). Still another game to go and would be way too late for us old people to be out.
Did get home in time to catch a bit of the sunset off the back deck here.
wonderful sunset |
Glad that ya'll dropped on by again.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this past Winter.
Look at that wonderful weather. Good enough to wash the car.
ReplyDeleteI remember when I was growing up and watching Roller Derby on TV. They use to swing players from the back to the front. It was so dangerous. They flew around that rink.
Yes wonderful warm sunny day, gotta love it. Putter around and just being outside.
DeleteThis was fun to watch the roller derby, much tamer than I remember watching on TV way back when.
It was a small flat track not the banked turns I recall..
Warmer weather certainly lifts the spirit - seems to give an injection of "Giddy ups"...without any strain.
ReplyDeleteWarmer weather and being able to be outside enjoying the fresh air sure does lift the spirits, love it!
