Where are we today ?
A wonderful night again, windows open great for sleeping. Up about 5 am like usual, and got the early morning sunrise here right from our dining room window,
We are not in a hurry today just moving down the road a couple hours. So got our coffee's ,computing and walkabouts done at a leisurely pace. Around 10 am pulled in the slide and lifted our jacks. Stop by the dump station here and wandered on down to the road.
We actually stopped the at Goodwill store to check it out. I picked up 3 "new" t-shirts for ten bucks perfect, now I can get rid of 3 stained ones. The one in one out rule.
only 85 miles today |
cruising the Emerald coast |
Alabama Here we are! |
all set up nice and cozy here |
Now with sun setting early got my night light out, fired up our Weber Q to grill a very tasty pork tenderloin, and heated up a can of creamed corn for Suzie and sauerkraut for me. Added to another wonderful salad and we are good to go for another fun day here in the sunny south.
our Weber does and great job |
sure hit the spot today |
Thanks again for stopping by and hope you had decent weather no matter where you are.

Supper looks good. What, Suzie not a fan of sauerkraut?
ReplyDeleteNo sauerkraut for her and no creamed corn for me, the small cans are nice.

Love the first picture! Your new campground looks very peaceful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cindy, it is nice here but not as peaceful as the last one.
DeleteYour not too far from Foley, AL. I know Suzie isn't into shopping, but Foley has a huge outlet mall.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the week with your friends.
Thanks for the tip, but no outlet malls for us, Just enjoy this awesome weather.
DeleteWe really like that area you are in. Too bad it's long way from the west coast.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy this area to and have spend many weeks along the Gulf Coast.
DeleteYou aren't far from Lambert's restaurant. It's a real treat.
ReplyDeleteWe have been there a few times and enjoyed it, caught many rolls too.
DeleteWe need to use that one in, one out rule for our house or maybe even one in, two out would be better.
ReplyDeleteWith a small house we only have so much room, so that needs to be done.
DeleteAhhh, you are in my favorite place. My dad lived there for about 13 years (Foley and Gulf Shores) Please wiggle your toes in the gorgeous sand for me!
ReplyDeleteThats a plan.
DeleteI like the one in - one out idea too. You are moving along at a nice, leisurely pace. And the temperatures are quite appealing.
ReplyDeleteThe way we love to travel, follow the sun.
DeleteThat part of AL is very nice:)
ReplyDeleteWe do love this area and have spent many weeks around here , just passing through this time.
DeleteFor taking it easy, you certainly are covering some serious ground! :c)
ReplyDeleteWe do like to move around and visit different places and revisit places we enjoy. That why we have wheels on our house.
DeleteJust looking at your diet. The food you cook and combine, you guys sure eat well and healthy. It's been a while since I have commented, but I have not stopped reading. Cheers!
