Where are we today ?
Hey it's still pretty nice here, great sleep again last night , windows open. And temps in the mid 60's f. But a bit of a cool north wind. So after a few walkabouts, both campgrounds and checking things out. We decided a good morning to do some shopping for us.they have some HUGE pull thru campsites here |
another huge pull thrtu |
On the way back check out the beach. So nice and inviting but not too warm and still a cool breeze. One problem about being on the water, most of the time there is a cool breeze.
Hung out here for a bit, then home for lunch |
We did get some quality reading time in. Perfect for a nice sunny day out of the wind. But were interrupted quite a few time with the antics of all the squirrels in the bushes around here. They can be very entertaining. I took a lot of pics but most did not turn out they are too fast, But you will get the idea.

Add that to a nice tasty salad and we had a very satisfying supper.
That was a fun day here in Destin Florida, good shopping and good deals we found, but this a very busy area, and the season has not even started yet! Our three nights will be up tonight so moving on down the road in the morning a hundred or so miles near Robertsdale Alabama for a few more days.
Thanks for stopping by again, hope you had pretty good weather too.

I have been following your blog for a bit. I must say your salads get me to thinking about eating right. But, dang...if that donut don't get in the way! Love your posts about Destin!

Thanks for following along with us.
DeleteHealthy salads can be very satisfying and filling, pretty good for you too.
I like the way Suzie shops. We're having nice warm weather here in AZ. Actually quite warm down in the Yuma area.
ReplyDeleteShe knows what she wants before we head out. Does not take her long.
DeleteCould Suzie please give lessons on shopping to my wife? ;c)
ReplyDeleteSuzie dislikes shopping so that make it pretty easy. No browsing, find what you wants , buy it and leave.
DeleteSounds like a fine day in North Florida.
ReplyDeleteIt was so, very nice, but time to move on.
DeleteSometimes those little coastal breezes can be quite nippy. At least you still get to be there and have lots of sunshine. Blocking the wind can make it seem like a nice warm day for sure.
ReplyDeleteThat is a problem with being on the coast, but when it is nice it is awesome!
DeleteI am with Suzie! I hate to shop for anything. Groceries especially...no offense...lol
ReplyDeleteIt is very cool here in Houston and going to get cooler by the end of next week. Yuck!
Thats ok, I enjoy shopping for groceries and leave her at home. I know what I want and get it. Works great for us.
DeleteCooler is not why we are here.
I only shop when I need something. Otherwise, shopping is something I truly do not enjoy. Good on Suzie for being quick on knowing what she wants and sourcing it.
ReplyDeleteCool in Florida? What's with that? We are enjoying nice, sunny temps here in the Pacific Northwest, on the coast of southern British Columbia.
I LOVE that area. The nicest sand and prettiest beaches I have ever seen! We have spent many a vacation before full-timing there and enjoyed some month long stays in Freeport the past couple of years.
ReplyDeleteOur first time here camping, very nice but way to busy for us.
