Nothing much other than an almost hot day outside.

Where are we today ?
Hey what did we do to day? Not much other than enjoy this amazing weather while we can. Next couple days gonna be rainy and cooler, prepping us for our return to Canada.
After a few walkabouts here and getting blown around, winds about 21 mph (plus) not a good travelling day. Headed into Walmart for a few items we would like to pick up before heading back home.
Suzie even got our house dusted and vacuumed while we have the facilities too.
Found these 2 USB flash drives that we have been looking for. So tiny and can be attached to your key chain. A great way to store personal medical information, in case it needs to be accessed in an emergency, or you are alone and unconscious. Thought this was great idea, you never know! Just gonna load up a PDF file with our medical stuff.
These 2 Flash drive about $14.00
so tiny and you can put on your keychain
After that we found a spot out of the wind with temps in the high 70's and were able to enjoy our books outside, possibly the last day for a while. Lots of Robins around here, so nice to see.
this one fluffing his feathers for us
three robins here
With the weather so good lots of members brought their families to enjoy the indoor pool here. Think I will wait until tomorrow when everybody has gone back to school and work.
Now our Weber Q fired up and kept on going with the windscreen I made. So tonight we will enjoy a couple smoked pork chops we picked up at Swiss Meat in Missouri, grill some potatoes and very tender asparagus I picked up today. Only .99 cents a lb and so good!
our Weber Q doing its job
sure hit the spot again tonight
After supper still in the high 70's so got to enjoy reading outside a bit more until almost 8pm. Gotta take advantage of this great weather while we can!
That was it for another fine day, hope you enjoyed yours too.
Glad that you could stop by and check us out again.

  1. We never travel on windy days. We have heard too many horror stories.

We were very windy and warm too. Love this weather.

  2. Bill keeps all his health data on a flash drive... which he carries on his person.... but... I wonder how many medical facilities would even check for something like that if he were brought into an ER in an emergency? It's not like he wears an ID thingy on his wrist saying he's allergic or something... just wondering?

  4. It actually was WARM here today and got up to about 24C - but very windy. Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be downright FREEZING. Noticed you only got another 2 days and you have to be back in Canada.

  7. I like the flash drive idea. Also not a bad idea to put two or three "In Case of Emergency" phone numbers in your cell phones under ICE. Can't hurt.

  11. I know what you mean about winds. We've certainly had more than our share of them. It's not the straight winds that get you but those gusts can knock you off the road. Stick around and enjoy that weather while you can.

  13. Good thinking on the flash drive info.

Hunkered down during the better weather seems like a good plan.

    1. The flash drive can't hurt anyway.
It is a bit nicer here than Ontario, we have full hookups and an indoor pool here too.
