Where are we today ?
Last night was very warm for here, about 60f overnight, widows open and quite comfortable for sleeping. This morning not too bad either, sunshine, had some wind, about 20 mph but the clubhouse house blocked most of it. Was a wonderful day, temps in the mid 70's.
Nice walkabouts chatting with various people here and there. Then got in a cleaning mode. Cleaned our fridge, coffee maker, captains chairs and dashboard, even change the oil in our Fry Daddy changed while we have the chance. Perfect weather for it, and even had time to enjoy our books outside for a couple hours. Now how awesome is that?
We enjoy this membership park with the great weather and facilities, only $10. a night. The pool is a bit busy for the weekend but will quiet down tomorrow.
Lots to see and do here, think we have done most of it over the past few years, not far away is the Neil Armstrong Space Museum in Wapakoneta Ohio and Airstream factory in Jackson Centre Click HERE to view my previous posting.
a perfect very warm day here |
A great day for another Weber Q moment, grill a couple Pork Burgers w/bacon we picked up at the Swiss Sausage and Meat Co. the other day.
Also fire up our Fry daddy to add some fresh cut fries to the mix. Sure took care of another craving we had.

You're certainly moving along. Before you know it you'll be across that border. We wish we could get closer to crossing the Texas border but we're kind of stuck until the winds go away. Oh well .... not much we can do about that. Your fresh fries sure looked nummy!
ReplyDeleteIt can get very windy along the I-10 in Texas, be careful.
DeleteWe're expecting wind, hail and other yukky weather tonight so your photos of NW Ohio look pretty good.... But... the food you fix looks even better!
ReplyDeleteThink we will get some of that weather too, midweek.
DeleteWhen the "cleaning mood hits" make the most out of it! That was an efficient day. Lots of gadgets you have for making food. I thought it was the "weber" only! :))
ReplyDeleteLike you said get the cleaning done when in the mood.
DeleteI can use lots great things I did all that in my restaurant, this is just more fun.
Perfect day here in Canton also.
ReplyDeleteYou two put me to shame with all your cleaning!
You too busy renovating, to clean right now.
DeleteAre you crossing the Border in Sarnia ? YIKES - Don't tell me you are driving through Detroit !!
ReplyDeleteWe usually cross at Sarnia a much nicer driver than taking that (four nothing one) 401, just zip through Detroit , piece of cake.
DeleteHow nice to have great spring weather on your drive back to Ontario. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt has been wonderful so far.
DeleteEnjoy your last few days in the states! And safe travels over the border.....
ReplyDeleteWe are enjoying every minute of it here.
DeleteHow nice to be able to sit outside so late in the evening. And all that cleaning--we need to do the same thing here but have so far this weekend resisted the urge!
ReplyDeleteThe weather was perfect for the cleaning and we have full hook ups, not sure what the next few weeks will bring, other than we will be busy.
DeleteJust caught on on the past few days. Good to hear you are ready to cross back home when the weather is right. No rush unless you have appointments you have to get to.
ReplyDeleteNo appointments until May. Just Easter weekend with family.
DeleteI love homemade french fries. Wonder if I could talk Jim into making some. I didn't know that you had a restaurant in your other life.
ReplyDeleteHard a small restaurant for 10 years and really enjoyed all the cooking, until my body wore out from too many hours on my feet every week.
DeleteKeep this up and you'll soon be home and hopefully not too early - it's predicted to be 32F here on Tues night.
ReplyDeleteYeas I know and that when we be back there, gonna be cold here too so may as well go. We have had an awesome winter and spring so far.
DeleteYou always have the best food photos and meal ideas…makes me hungry! Sounds like nice weather, it's mid eighties now here in FL…wish I was in some cooler weather!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, you are enoying Florida from what I can see.
