Where are we today ?
We had a wonderful sunrise this morning looks like its gonna be a nice day.morning sunrise, out our kitchen window |
No problem we have stuff to do. First off to Pettigrew's garage in town, service our car, oil change and check the brakes. Back home by 9 am chat for a bit with Suzie then off to Waterloo visit my Ma , have a coffee and some really tasty oatmeal cookies that just came out of the oven! Wow were they ever good, just like I remember she used to make over 50 years ago (sure, sounds like I am getting old). Well guess we all are.
fresh from oven oatmeal cookies, thanks ma! |
Buddy getting brushed a bit more |
But hey its could be a LOT worse. So I get to cook inside again, something else we have been craving. Liver and onions that we both love, creamy whipped potatoes, peas and fresh tomato slices.
hit the spot again! |
Now a relaxing evening, compute a bit more and maybe watch a movie or something, on the tube or possibly read for a while before calling it a night.
Glad you took the time to give us a quick read today, not real exciting for you but us full time rv'ers like to take it easy too. Just because we can.

After reading all your posts and seeing all your yummy pictures, I could stand it no longer. This past weekend we bought a little Weber Q and we love it! Have only done steaks so far but I'm looking forward to trying to do lots more. You should get a commission!!
ReplyDeleteNo commission, but we do enjoy some great food coming from it. The more you use it the more you will enjoy some great tasting food.
DeleteI don't do dog brush'n, so Sadie Mae would love Suzie.
ReplyDeleteThen liver an' onions are just the way I like 'em. Good job.
Glad ya ain't got no snow to contend with....that would be Brrrrrrrr...
Suzie carries here own set of dog brushes wherever we go.
DeleteDon't want no snow either.
Love liver'n onions. People don't know what they're missing! Hate the wind though. We're real tired of it. Don't remember any year that we've had quite so much.
ReplyDeleteThats right it is excellent if cooked properly.
DeleteWe have had enough wind too, time for summer.
I haven't had liver and onions for SO long... we used to have that every Wednesday night, with spinach and boiled potatoes and that was my favorite meal when I was a kid. It got windy here in Glen Rose today too... but only up to the low 90's. No rain..... Oh yes... those oatmeal cookies look wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWill take the low 90's right now.
DeleteMa still does pretty good will be 87 this June.
Hm, haven't had liver and onions in a long time too. Might be getting ideas.
ReplyDeleteIt's very cool that your Mom is still around and able to bake cookies. Doesn't matter how old you might think you are.
Pretty good stuff, enjoy it.
DeleteMa is doing pretty good.
Liver and onions...one of my favourites! Get ready for the rain!
ReplyDeleteReady or not here it comes, The grass and the flowers be growing like crazy.
DeleteHAhaaa Suzie stuff…. love it ~ love reading how happy in love a lot of you are… sniff ~ I know you realize how lucky you are to have found the right mate…
ReplyDeleteAND look at those cookies and well I haven't eaten liver and onions in 30 years ~ used to love it BUT that was the only time I got sick when I was pregnant right after a lovely meal of liver and onions … you're welcome ;)
Yep we are so lucky to have each other.
DeleteThat would be enough to turn you off for sure too bad.
What's up with the wind? It is gusting at 40 mph here in Sedona, AZ as well. My grandma cooked liver and onions when I was growing up. Thanks for that memory!
ReplyDeleteYour welcome.
DeleteWindy everywhere I think.
Liver and onions is very good as long as it is not overcooked.
That is a great looking dinner and I like everything on it. I usually go to a restaurant though to get liver and onions - the wife is not a fan.
ReplyDeleteWhen I had my restaurant that was always a very successful day when I put liver and onions on special.
