Where are we today ?
Hey what did we do to day? Not much other than enjoy this amazing weather while we can. Next couple days gonna be rainy and cooler, prepping us for our return to Canada. After a few walkabouts here and getting blown around, winds about 21 mph (plus) not a good travelling day. Headed into Walmart for a few items we would like to pick up before heading back home.
Suzie even got our house dusted and vacuumed while we have the facilities too.
Found these 2 USB flash drives that we have been looking for. So tiny and can be attached to your key chain. A great way to store personal medical information, in case it needs to be accessed in an emergency, or you are alone and unconscious. Thought this was great idea, you never know! Just gonna load up a PDF file with our medical stuff.
These 2 Flash drive about $14.00 |
so tiny and you can put on your keychain |
this one fluffing his feathers for us |
three robins here |
Now our Weber Q fired up and kept on going with the windscreen I made. So tonight we will enjoy a couple smoked pork chops we picked up at Swiss Meat in Missouri, grill some potatoes and very tender asparagus I picked up today. Only .99 cents a lb and so good!
our Weber Q doing its job |
sure hit the spot again tonight |
That was it for another fine day, hope you enjoyed yours too.
Glad that you could stop by and check us out again.

We never travel on windy days. We have heard too many horror stories.
ReplyDeleteWe were very windy and warm too. Love this weather.
The weather is great but gonna get cold again for a bit.
DeleteBill keeps all his health data on a flash drive... which he carries on his person.... but... I wonder how many medical facilities would even check for something like that if he were brought into an ER in an emergency? It's not like he wears an ID thingy on his wrist saying he's allergic or something... just wondering?
ReplyDeleteI know I can't remember about my stuff, at least it is all there, just in case.
DeleteWhile ur sittin around you can be working on that items purchased while in the USA list...... LOL
ReplyDeleteThats all done, is an ongoing list all the time we are here.
DeleteIt actually was WARM here today and got up to about 24C - but very windy. Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be downright FREEZING. Noticed you only got another 2 days and you have to be back in Canada.
ReplyDeleteWe saw that, but still warmer here so will wait for a couple days, it will be a bit warmer.
DeleteLooks like you got some good product at Swiss Meats again.
ReplyDeleteThose smoked chops were wonderful.
DeleteGlad to see you're taking full advantage of the good weather while you can.
ReplyDeleteLove every minute of it.
DeleteI like the flash drive idea. Also not a bad idea to put two or three "In Case of Emergency" phone numbers in your cell phones under ICE. Can't hurt.
ReplyDeleteWe have that too, like you said can't hurt.
DeleteDad gum it, I sure do hate to see ya go'n across tate Canadian border. I'm gonna miss ride'n along with ya, see'n so many places an'' eat'n good Weber food every night. You can just pull over up the road a piece an' let me out....I'll hitchhike back to Texas.
ReplyDeleteWe still be seeing Canadian Places, and doin some Weber grilling. You are welcome to come along Billy Bob, got your passport?
DeleteCool idea about the flash drive thingy with the medical info on it! Will look into that!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your last few days here in the states.
Like I said can't hurt.
DeleteWe are enjoying everyday here.
Great idea about the flash drives. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNo problem I thought it was a good idea too.
DeleteI know what you mean about winds. We've certainly had more than our share of them. It's not the straight winds that get you but those gusts can knock you off the road. Stick around and enjoy that weather while you can.
ReplyDeleteThats our plan for a couple days.
DeleteA Medic Alert bracelet works well.
ReplyDeleteYes it does, this has no fees and we have the info with us at all times.
DeleteI can't remember all this stuff its all right here in a PDF file.

DeleteGood thinking on the flash drive info.
ReplyDeleteHunkered down during the better weather seems like a good plan.
The flash drive can't hurt anyway.
DeleteIt is a bit nicer here than Ontario, we have full hookups and an indoor pool here too.
