Where are we today ?
We had a great nights sleep last night very quiet here at this Flying J, windows open and even slept late (for me) until after 5 am. This morning a few walkabouts by the trucks, just to make sure they were here. On the other side of the buildings.
In no hurry today only 166 miles to go and we want to wait until the rush hour traffic is done here in Indianapolis.
love these trucks transporting trucks. |
only 166 miles today |
now we in Ohio |
the indoor pool is right behind us |
We really enjoy this place, always better weather than back home, not busy at this time of year, and only 6 hours to home. Think we may stay until next Tuesday then the weather gets kind yukky everywhere. So will then head back to the "Great white north".
love the indoor pool and spa right behind us, especially when nobody is there |
lotsa Robins here, are they following us home? |
the creek is rising, never seen it this high before |
even the Canada Geese are here too |
our Weber Q does its job very well |
sure hit the spot, way too much to eat though, glad we like leftovers |
Kinda delays my blogging a bit but still have time to relax as well.
We are enjoying this awesome weather as long as we can, and a perfect place to do so.
Thanks for stopping on by again and hope you had a great day and enjoy the next few days a very warm weather too.

Oh man... you folks are in my home State! Okay... you're NE and my heart is in SE... but,..... still... this old Buckeye gets real homesick reading about folks in Ohio. That big ole chicky looks pretty good to me... very tasty!
ReplyDeleteYou will be travelling through here soon, heading east.
DeleteI think it's great that you are close enough to home that you can relax for a few days and enjoy yourselves before making the last big push. With everybody clearing out of our park, the pool is empty most of the time. And with the heat they are leaving it uncovered now which is nice.
ReplyDeleteIt is getting pretty hot down there now, keep cool.
DeleteGorgeous here in Canton also. 75 today and maybe 80 tomorrow. Hope you appreciate how much hard work we had to go through to be sure you have great weather...lol Welcome to Ohio.
ReplyDeleteThanks for getting the weather in shape for us, you did an awesome job. To bad you are so far away and not on our route this time.
DeleteYou're lucky that pool is heated. We've discovered many pools where we've been aren't even open let alone heated. Glad you made it through Indianapolis without much traffic. We're tired of big cities and lots of traffic.
ReplyDeleteWe have stayed here a few times and is very nice at this time of year. Also a membership park, ten dollars a night.
DeleteOnly 6 hours from home! That must feel really good! Yummy looking dinner--well done!
ReplyDeleteWe rest up before hitting the road again.
DeleteLucky you, with a heated pool and spa right behind ya! I would like that too. Still chilly here and some rain in the making. So take a break and wait until the rain is gone. It's much nicer to come home when the sun is shining.
ReplyDeleteYummy chicken. I guess our weber is out of work until Peter is back. I am not a big fan of too much grilling. I am the "Eintopf" person. :))
Yes its nice here, I do use "pots and pans" as well when the weather is not as good.
DeleteWell, you certainly have been taking your time getting home but you're not going to be able to avoid it much longer, George!
ReplyDeleteAs you know we don't like rush.
Delete"only 166 miles to go" - That would be a LONG driving day for me.
ReplyDeleteWe do what we need to do, and can plane accordingly, soon we be in Ontario.
