Where are we today ?
The temps last night really dropped to about 22f. So we disconnected our water line after filling our water tank. This morning we woke up to this! Just look at the pics below. Now do not remember ever having to brush the snow off this car since we had it. But we do have a snow brush in the trunk, never know when you might need it. And today was the day!
Got a few things done here while the sun was out, refill our fresh water, dump our sewage, check tire pressures, and pack up our satellite dish. We have lotsa local channels here on the tv so not a big deal. Don't really wanna do this in the cold morning air.
Now we can got to the beach/pool and have a great afternoon enjoying the hot tub, pool and sauna, reading our books for the next three hours. Looking out the windows at this kinda cool day we had. We even had a nice happy hour here to by the pool, just the two of us, does it get much better? Think not.
me enjoying the hot tub a few times. |
even the sauna was wonderful, its been a few years since I have enjoyed this too. |
slide came in no problem too |
Fettuccini alfredo with fresh garlic shrimp, a tossed salad, and tasty King's Hawaiian buns. Lotsa leftovers too!
again this hit the spot tonight |
Thanks again for taking a peak and enjoying our day with us. It was wonderful!

Sorry that your last day in the USA (and Ohio, where my heart remains) was snow... and wow! those icicles! Your "last supper" sure looks good, even if it wasn't fixed on your Q Weber ;-) Safe travels... take care!
ReplyDeleteWe have enjoyed our winter here again, and hopefully for many more years to come.
DeleteThat whole pool/hot-tub/whatever inside program is the way to go if it gets cool outside. Obviously they've figured that out. Had that white stuff here too. Glad I'm still putting the car inside at night. No huge desire to do the scraping.
ReplyDeleteThe Beach here is great, sure makes you feel good on a miserable day.
DeleteWow, Looks like you guys got the identical weather that we did here in Ontario. You really are getting right down to the last minute with getting back to Canada within the allowed time frame - something I will be doing the next time for sure !!
ReplyDeleteAnother FREEZING day here tomorrow but after that the temps will rise, rise, rise !!
Looking forward to after Wednesday, should be do able then.
DeleteSNOW and ICE! Ick! At least you have the beach and a nice pool to enjoy one more day.
ReplyDeleteThat makes it real nice here. Snow melted real quick this morning.
DeleteOkay, will not head to Ohio until late May:)
ReplyDeleteIts gonna be nice here after Wednesday.
DeleteSNOW!!! Yikes George!
ReplyDeleteIt should be gone by the time you get here.
DeleteWas it something we said? Put on extra miles just to say Hello. At the KOA up the road. Will just have to see you up the road in Ontario.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Did not know you coming on Tuesday, but we have to get back to Ontario.
DeleteTo bad you did not call us could have got you into this resort real reasonable.
Sorry - your pictures aren't even pretty to me - they just look way too cold. Icicles!! I sure wish you didn't have to be back in Canada so soon. Another month would be so perfect.
ReplyDeleteYes another month would be perfect, but thats the rules.
DeleteSnow...ugh! Just as well to come back to Canada....still lotsa that up here. Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteMay as well get back to Canada now, our time had run out.
DeleteThe snow has now reach us at the east coast. And it is snowing hard!
ReplyDeleteEnvy you for your hot tub, that would be the thing. Especially when the cold front hits tonight. Well, I just have to keep up hope. Spring MUST come some day.
The hot tub was perfect for this kind if weather.
DeleteI was hoping you would get out of here before the snow hit. It is still on the ground here in Canton.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't any bun better than King's Hawaiian buns.
Snow was gone from Wapakoneta, and a good travel day too!
ReplyDeleteYes love those buns. Only in the USA.
