Update my MacBbook Pro and more family stuff for Suzie

Where are we today ?
Plattsville Ontario
In case your missed thursdays posting I did it this morning after resolving a few issues with Picasa, did really not feel like dealing with it last night. If you care you can click here  to read about our Thursday.
Now today is Friday and we both have stuff to do.  Just before 10 am Suzie headed into New Hamburg to take her Mom to "The doctor" and straighten out her meds. That was done and while she was gone I updated the operating system in my Mac Book pro. All I need is a high speed connection and unlimited usage. We have both here at "Camp awesome" so I signed in and paid Apple my $19.99 to upgrade, took a couple hours but was so simple, now have Mountain Lion operating system on my Mac Book pro and can use the new Google + editing tools on line. Works pretty cool too, Thanks for the info Rick Doyle. I know Rick is not an Apple guy but he does have some great info.We updated Suzie's I-phone yesterday with Rick's helpful info too.
My Mac Book is working awesome now!
I just puttered around and did a few things here, Suzie got home after lunch. We got to chat for a bit, get caught up, Read for a while, chat with Jamie and play with the dogs for a while too.
But then its soon time for me to prep supper. Picked up a package of these pre-cooked ribs the other day on sale at the No frills. Only $5.44 ( half price) so lets try them out.
much better than we expected
Fired up out Weber Q. grilled some taters in foil with onions and steamed some broccoli to go with it.
Our Weber Q100sure does an amazing job
the ribs were awesome and so was the rest of the meal
Sure hit the spot
So much for another great day at "Camp Awesome"here at John and Lea's in Plattsville Ontario. looks like we could have another busy day again tomorrow as well.
Just wanna thank ya'll for stopping on by today, sure is nice here.

  2. We've tried the pre-cooked ribs several times. Most of them really are awesome but we got stuck once with one brand we didn't care for. We'll be moving into town soon and we're hoping for lightening fast internet so we can do some updating too.

I'll have to try some of those ribs on our Weber - they looked terrific.

  5. Hmmm, we are still operating a few iMac systems behind you and it is working fine so I think I will just leave it alone for now.
