Where are we today ?
Well today is the first day of school for lots children here in Ontario. (Do you remember your first day of school after the summer holidays?) Our Host Lea is back into the swing of things driving her school bus for her kids. Think she has been doing this area for over 12 years now and she loves it.She does the school run from 8 till 9 am then heads into work at the Home Depot and back here for the afternoon run, bring kids back home. Then somedays she goes back to the Home Depot for another shift, Sure is a busy lady.

Back home to "Camp Awesome"just to say Hi to Suzie, she heading to New Hamburg to meet up with her mom, and come back here for a quick soup and sandwich lunch.
They off to Stratford Hospital to visit her Dad (no new changes yet) and I ran a few errands. Then returned to get a couple things ready for supper whenever Suzie and her mom get back from visiting. But I did manage to get a bit of reading done in the meantime.

Can sure connect with how Lia feels, after having Lolita drive the School kids for over 20 years before we retired last year. Hope you and all the family get good results on your health. Looking forward to meeting up this winter with guys for sure. Your killing me seeing that awesome Elderberry pie. Have a great Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteEveryday is great thanks, good test results is all I ask for,
DeleteThanks for showing us what a snibble looks like. I like the word. Sort of rolls right off the tongue. I also like the looks of that elderberry pie.
ReplyDeleteSuzie's mom uses that word a lot kind like a small nibble.
DeleteWell, I enjoy the first day of school. It means all the kids are gone and campgrounds are empty except for the wildlife! Yep, it's certainly good here.
ReplyDeleteYes , yes , thats so good.
DeleteIt is sure feeling like fall around here George! Can't believe how the weather has changed... hopefully get some more good stuff yet.
ReplyDeleteSure hope so, too chilly for me. But it could be worse.
DeleteSchool...brings back a lot of memories as a student and a teacher!
ReplyDeleteSuzie and her mom are sure lucky to have such a nice dinner waiting for them! It looks yummy!
I do what I can to help out.
DeleteIt's always a good thing to be able to leave the hospital after any heart test!
ReplyDeleteI could go for a few 'snibbles' of that Eldeberry Pie.
Yep looks good so far.
DeleteYou would love the pie!
All was very yummy!
