Where are we today ?
Guess what we are having another wonderful summer like day! A bit more from yesterday first. On the way back from St. Jacobs Market we stopped by Mountain Oak Cheese factory about 6 kms up the road from Plattsville on a dairy farm, you can read all about them HERE if you care. A couple from, Holland came here and are making amazing Gouda cheese varieties right here with milk their own dairy cows.

We had a few snacks, John and Lea joined us for a bit and we sampled some very tasty curried chicken that Barb and Steve whipped up while we were gone!

Wonderful news about dad going home. So glad he is doing better.

DeleteSo happy to hear that Dad is home and doing better. That's always great news. Jim would love that cheese place - me? not so much. But I'd stop just for him. Your chickens looked so yummy. But I must say, those pies stole the show.

Glad to hear Suzie's dad is home and comfortable. I love cheese shops like that. Did you buy some smoked gouda (my favorite)?
