After the heat wave hooked up Mr. Heater ready for a cold front.

Where are we today ?
We having a busy day again. Suzie doing family stuff and me getting a few last minute things done here and there. Went to my mothers in Waterloo installed a new battery in her smoke detecter. Set up our Mr.Heater to take the chill off the cold weather forecast for the next little while. Getting down to 2c (35f) at night for the next week or so.  Sure is a big temperature change from a couple days ago when temps were over 100f.
Have used this heater for the last 7 years and works awesome, much better than a propane furnace ( no electricity and no noise) and an electric heater is not really an option here with a 15 amp hookup. Very efficient, keep us toasty warm using very little propane as well. We do know how to conserve energy.

Suzie let me know when she be home and fired up our Weber Q to grill a couple tasty burgers with the rest of our pasta salad for supper tonight.
We relaxed outside for a bit when she got home discussed each others day and enjoyed a very tasty meal.

Thanks for taking a peek today and we have plans that are still written in chalk. We play it one day at a time.

  3. Not looking forward to the day we have to turn on the heat. But at the same time that will mean that our departure date is getting closer just like yours.

Hope everything continues to improve for both your families. That burger did look good! Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  5. We have a blue flame heater and I love it. So do the girls. They think it's their own personal fireplace. We had burgers for dinner tonight but that's all we had. Burgers.

  6. That is a big change to go from air conditioning to a heater. I'm glad it won't get that cold as long as we're here. However, we have our Mr. Heater loaded and ready to go too.
