Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer, 

 since August 2006

      Do we miss southern Ontario? Not today, we just heard on the news that London has received 200 centimeters (6.56 feet!!) of snow in the last few days, we love it here.

      Settled into a campground with full hookups, is more appreciated after dry camping for 12 days in the desert. Just little things like not having to worry about running out of water, sunshine or fuel or even not having to worry about having to empty our sewage tanks. You sure learn how to conserve very quick while doing this, but the experience, scenery and open spaces are well worth it. So other than that its morning coffees and computing then walkabout the resort. A beautiful sunny day again 80f (26c).

      With a stroll down to the lazy Colorado river and along the banks the other side is California, and a different time zone. I leave here and go shopping at 10:am and get to the store at 9:05 am it can be confusing for a bit.

      Walking along the riverbank is quiet and impressive huge bamboo plants in bunches 15-20 feet tall.

      Then a walkabout the resort I spot a tiny tree with huge oranges in it, looks kind cool.

      Back around the resort,  past the clubhouse and home again.

      As I walked by the tree at our site I heard water running and sure enough there is the plastic hose with a tiny nozzle trickling water on the base of the tree and all the other ones in the resort, hard to grow things in the desert. 

      Now today is just relaxing, no chores, we went thru some of our rv magazines to make sure that we have read them then recycle then to the reading room here. And as the sun goes down I put supper together tonight, a favourite of ours, chicken wings (suicide for me), fries with veggies and dip.
