Ho Ho Ho, let's get in the Christmas mood |
Well today we discussed moving to the next campground for a week or staying here for a week over Christmas. We tossed about the pros and cons. And as much as we wanted to move on it made more sense to stay here. Good internet, good cell phone reception, nice pool, and spa, and a nice Christmas dinner. If we moved on Wednesday we are not sure about a pool, spa, phone reception and internet service, and most resorts don't do anything for Christmas day. Now this is only real important to us for Christmas day as we like to be able to contact our families. Another reason to stay for a while is the heavy rains in Southern California, probably a bit more to where we would be going and we do have the option of staying for another week. We can be comfortable here for a few more days. Why drive in the rains if we don't have to?

overcast and rainy |
It was overcast all day again today, drizzling and a steady rain, not a heavy rain but steady. So if we are going to stay lets decorate a bit for Christmas! We put on a Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers Christmas Video to set the mood, unpacked the decorations and our fiber optic Christmas tree and away we went.

Well we enjoyed the decorating and now it feels more like Christmas, except its raining and not snowing, but thats just fine, we will take mild and rainy any day over cold and snowy. We have Christmas tv specials that we enjoy at this time of year as well. Now to compute and read a bit, then for supper we will have some of the left over hamburger skillet dinner I made the other day with a tossed salad.
