Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
since August 2006
Well the weather forecasters have been telling us rain for the last few days, today it finally happened, not a bad rain just a drizzly kind of day, all day. Dark overcast skies from early morning until we went to bed, a very light rain, enough to make little rivers on the roads in the resort but not enough to get us wet when we went for walks. Relax, compute, research, read, chat, walkabouts, soak in the hot spa, it was a wonderful day.
So busy in fact that no time to make supper. We went to Rockys New York Style Pizzeria with a group of about 30 people from the resort, a regular monday night outing. We had some tables reserved and as you came in went to the counter ordered your food, paid for it, took our drinks to your table and sat with the group. Good deal yes, a large 3 item pizza $11.99, and pitcher of beer $6.99 (wow!). Excellent pizza, fresh made dough on the premises, and all fresh ingredients. We chatted with a few people at the tables getting acquainted and enjoying the atmosphere.

A short while later our hot, out-of-the-oven pizza arrived at our table, to our little pyramid number we were given at the cash. About half of the winter visitors here were from Western Canada, so lots of chatting and information was flying around the tables. Just down from us was Sue from the office with a cute hat on and told us about the christmas potluck dinner here on Christmas day. We are supposed to leave here on Wednesday, but she said to come see here and we can extend our stay, something to think about. Hmmmm, should we stay or should we go? decisions, decisions.....

So after a fun evening as they advertised, we returned home, with left over pizza, to read a bit and a tv show before calling it a night.
