More wonderful weather and enjoying it, what's not to love about that?

Where are we today ?

Cooler this morning but when the sun came up was amazing. Gotta love the sunshine here.
sunrise here so nice
Picked up a few supplies in Gainesville TX and Suzie even went shopping with me too! A rare occasion.  But she wanted a new sleeping shirt.
Back home for a light lunch, got some laundry done only a buck to wash and dry, another good deal.
Now to enjoy our e-readers  outside in the sun, but Suzie found it to hot after a while. Got my shower done and another haircut with Suzie getting the final trim done.
Few more walkabouts here got 3 miles done today, not bad for not really trying.
pretty warm here in the sun
a few daffodils  Iris's (thanks Betty)
by the showers
Then time for supper. Preheat our Weber Q 100 whipped up a salad and grille the last 2 turkey garlic sausage we have and the rest of our asparagus, sure hit the spot!
That was it for a day that just flew on by.
We are excited gonna be on the road in the morning to Grove Oklahoma, for a few days, slowly making our way back home.
Thanks again for stopping in for a peek, love having you along.

  1. I don't know for sure, but I think the flowers by the showers might be yellow Iris's. At any rate they sure are pretty. It sounds and looks like you are really enjoying your return to Canada

    1. You are correct, Betty. Hybrids. Life gets exciting when the spring's blooms appear, causing mankind's joy for the renewal of life once again.

    3. My dad would point at any flower and ask, "What kind of Tulip is that"?

  2. We often grill asparagus and think it has better flavor than steamed. We like it with a little olive oil, sea salt and pepper.

  10. We've been out of internet and other worldly things lately... guess we missed if you went to Glen Rose. Whatever... you have a good time wherever you're at... walks, food and scenery... WHAT? You didn't catch up with some old friends here?
