Now we are in southern California and are having amazing weather once again. Up early as usual headed into  Yuma at 6:30 am for some much needed supplies after being  away from our house for 2 weeks. Nice that Walmart is open 24 hours.
Walmart sunrise
Home early and puttering around our friends Rick and Suzy dropped by for a visit. Have not seen them for a couple years. They were heading out this morning for Apache Junction. To check out some possible rv parks to call home. So nice to catch up after all this time!
Then Jason of Accurate RV arrived to repair our coach 11 am . To install a new circuit board for our levelling jacks and a new start capacitor for our rear airconditioner. He did a great job. very professional and reasonable rates, We would have him in again if we in the area and need more rv repairs.

new top board as well
new circuit board.
It was not an easy job for the circuit board. Because when the control box was installed over the left front wheel , it was sealed with spray foam insulation bolts and wire connectors. But he got that done and the start capacitor installed, so now the levelling jacks and our rear a/c are operational again. and we can hit the road again.

Then I puttered around, walkabouts, checked tire pressure, hook up our Weber and enjoyed some wonderful reading time outside, in the shade, shorts and sandals. Enjoying the wonderful clear blue sunny skies and bug free environment. Love the south west. Oh we had a dust storm last night and other than wiping things down, dusting and vacuuming all was good. Guess we shoulda had all the windows closed. No problem it's only dust.
Love these clear blue skies
Then Happy hour evolved,  Denis and Sandy (last saw them in Quartzsite this past January) came over, they will be here for another week, also Jim and Judy joined us, think we last saw them at Rock Glen Resort last summer in Ontario. They spent a few months on the beach in Mexico with their RV this winter near PV I believe and loved it. They are leaving in the morning heading to Quartzsite. Like ships passing in the night we meet up with friends. Notice Suzie the only one wearing long pants.

Then time for supper, pan fried cod fillets and our salad did the trick on a beautiful southern California day.
sure was tasty
Of course another wonderful desert sunset
I began working on the blog last night, but was just to tired to think, I guess the time zones have caught up with me. And saturday night almost everyone turns their clock ahead except Arizona, the time zone we are in, so now 3 hour different between here and Ontario.
In the morning we are heading out, down the road about 1/2 hour for 3 nights free camping in the Foot Hills. This is the beginning of our trip back to Ontario have less than a month to get there.
That was it for a busy day, thanks for stopping by.

  4. It's so hard to get a good RV repair and around here, they will tell you it will be 6 weeks before they can get to it.

  6. We have to do these repairs as they come up. Put them off and it becomes overwhelming (and expensive). There is always something needs repair on an older rig but then we are not making payments so it is affordable.

    1. That is right, its paid for a long time ago cheaper than a new one and we love our coach.

    2. Just like boats, something always needs fixing. Nice to see you back into the swing of things after a week of turmoil and emotion. No wonder you were tired.

  7. I keep a spare a/c capacitor on hand. Have had one fail once on a hot day. Never again, don't like to sweat!

    1. This is our first replacement on a 17 year old coach. And we don't very often need our A/C.

  8. It's nice to be able to find a good repair person when you need one. The problem is that isn't always the case.
