Sunny, warm, blue skies and NO WIND

Thanks for joining us on our journey of North America
in our Holiday Rambler, since August 2006

Where are we today ?

Wow, overnight was cold 22f when I awoke at 5 a.m. our water hose was frozen and did not thaw out until about 10 o'clock. If we had known it was going be that cold we could have left a tap drip. No problem, we had water in our tank and nothing broke.

As the sun rises over the mountain about 6:40am everything warms up very quickly, coffees and computing are pretty well done for the time being. Time for a few walkabouts the resort. Just love the blue cloudless Arizona skies but something was missing today and it felt so wonderful, no wind!
beautiful blue skies
Our one neighbor has a nice gazebo, but took the cover off a long time ago, too much wind, seems kinda pointless.
So nice and sunny we spent the day outside just puttering around, walkabouts, reading, chatting no plans other than enjoy this awesome weather and that's just fine. We have been here many times and have seen pretty well all their is to see, but just love the area, peaceful.
the sites are small but the neighbors are quiet
A perfect day to fire up our Weber Q 100 and grill a boneless pork loin roast, with some pepper squash, potato salad, sauerkraut and garlic bread for a nice tasty supper
pork roast
yummy
Our winter is winding down and we will soon be back in Ontario where it will be much cooler before summer arrives. Almost sad, but we will be able see all our families again soon.

Thanks for enjoying this nice day with us .

  1. Great looking dinner! Gotta love that blue sky - especially with no wind. We're on the countdown clock for heading home as well.

  2. Nice to hear the winds are gone and that you can enjoy more of that beautiful weather before heading North. Enjoyed your pictures of Tombstone. Dinner looked great. Wishing you both a GREAT Sunday!

  3. The present wind is 6 MPH and we'll stay below the freezing point today. The other night the winds were rattling from the wind.

    Stay Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  4. We appreciate calm days after having so much wind. We finally left Bullhead City this morning with the wind blowing. This afternoon it's certainly pleasant without the wind. Hopefully all your future winds will be tailwinds!

The countdown is on, winds are less the temperatures are rising, and we are soon on the move. Great to enjoy the warmth, sunshine and no wind while we have it.
