Enjoying this wonderful weather, chat with a few friends and a fun night at darts.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
A very comfortable night for sleeping and as the sun was rising warmed up nicely for a good walkabout after coffee and computing.
Then about 9 am made a relaxing country drive to Kettle Point Rez and gassed up our car. Always good fuel prices here $1:17.9 a litre compared to about $1:30 elsewhere.  Stopped in Forest to a few groceries and back home . Puttered around for a while then reheated the leftover pizza from last night. For a tasty lunch.
reheating Pizza in a frying pan is the best way to do it
Then just more enjoying this wonderful weather we are having. Only 88f and not humid perfect in the shade to relax and enjoy our e-readers. A good friend stopped by for a chat we have not seen since last Summer. George (Rose was not with him yet she is dealing with family issues).
A bit later I heard and saw this car drive and hopped out to snap a picture of this beautiful restored 1956 Chevy Bel air. Brings back memories of work on these amazing cars back in the day. This one is in show room condition !
what a beautiful ride
Reading and puttering around for a while then at 3 pm Tucker, Gerry and Melinda joined us for Happy hour. Flapping our gums and sharing information and tips. And as usual Tucker is spoiled and got a few small treats.
Tucker knows the routine and does pretty well,
he does get excited though
We just enjoyed another perfect afternoon while we can. One more day here tomorrow, and gone for about 3 weeks, If nothing else Tucker and Suzie will miss each other.
Soon time for supper , picked up a deal on a couple of chicken kabobs that I could not turn down 2 for 4 bucks, , I can hardly make them for that price.
on the grill mat with some sweet and sour sauce
very tasty and sure hit the spot
Supper done, dishes done and we headed down for darts at 6:45. Paid our 3 dollars each to play and were assigned our teams. 24 players tonight so it worked out quite well. Suzie and I on different teams and we had too much fun until shortly after 9 pm. Suzie's team came in first place she won 3 bucks. My team was in the playoffs and I won 2 bucks !
getting ready to play
Suzie playing very well
waiting for the playoffs
Now that was a lot of fun and laughs that we had and a total cost for us tonight was one dollar, now how can you beat that ?
Back home to wrap up this posting, Watch a bit of tv and call it night.
Thanks for taking the time to join us today and hope y;all had a wonderful day as well.

  1. I usually eat the left over pizza cold, but tried your fry-pan with a lid and it really works. Today in WalMart on their 'As Seen on TV' shelf is an electric fry-pan with lid to reheat pizza! Where's you patent?
    Congrats on your darts!

    1. The fry pan works pretty good Jeff, for reheating pizza, just like I did in my restaurant in the Pizza oven, No patent , I guess somebody beat me to it.
Darts is always fun and winning is a bonus.

  7. That 56 did look amazing, but those ugly wheels took away from its classic style. To each his own. ;c)
