Enjoy more wonderful weather and running into more old friends. Well they are not really that old, just have not seen most for a while.

Where are we today ?
clic on a pic to enlarge it.
More amazingly warm weather and lotsa sunshine today. My usual early walkabouts and spotted the Geese and their Babies , Wow have they grown in the last couple weeks! Almost full grown adult size.
No where to go and what a nice thing. Just puttered around, walkabouts, installed a couple brackets for our new awning that will be installed next week. Helped Richard with his TV and satellite, (needs a new tv). Chat with other friends that stopped by (Harry and Jackie) and our new neighbor John, check out his tv and antenna. Looks like his old CRT tv is toast as well, not compatible with the new digital channels.
A nice light lunch and a few more things to play with, can always find something to do outside.
Then over to Harry and Jackie's for Happy hour. They have a whole mess of friends here this weekend and we know quite a few of them. If not before we know them now. Yep a bunch, remember all the new names? Hmm don't think so but there is no test (that I know of) and well will see them again before the weekend is over.
Nice happy hour, with more great weather
as usual conversation flows

Bill sampling some of my
 Habanero hot sauce
Around 5 o'clock time to head home, fire up our Weber Q, grill a couple Hayter's Onion and Parsley Turkey Burgers, on English muffins, fresh asparagus and a tasty salad.
did the trick again
Another fun day in the sun and warm weather, doing what we do best. Putter and read, ok flap our gums when required but that's ok.
Glad that y'all stopped by for a peek and hope your day was as wonderful as ours.
Hey it's only 7:30 and still very nice out gotta get my Kobo fired up and enjoy another wonderful evening outside reading with my honey.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this summer

  1. Crikey I don't know what you see in that asparagus stuff. It makes your pee smell funny, you know!!!!! MUM loves IT. I refuse to drink out of that big white bowl in the bathroom when she's been eating that stuff. It stinks!!

    1. I am not good with names either, faces and numbers are easy though.

  4. Asparagus is one of my favorites... steamed, grilled... or even just raw. It's still available at the Farmer's Market here - fresh is so much better! What a lot of folks that get together there... looks like quite a social group.

    1. Theses are all rv'ers that have met in various places in North America over the years. Most in the south somewhere. Met Harry and Jackie in Louisiana back in 2006, Bill here in 2005, and few of the others in various places.

  6. Those babies are looking like older teenagers. Folks around there are lucky to have all your RV expertise to draw from.
