Relocating to Plattsville for a week, things to do.

Where are we today ?
clic on a pic to enlarge it.
We had major rain storm overnight, so nice to hear it on our roof. Lightning and thunder, wow what a fun time enjoying the light and sound shows.
Still raining off and on this morning so got my walkabouts and packing up between the raindrops. We are on the move today but no hurry.
Showers, pack up, then an early lunch, dump our sewage, chat with few neighbors and friends, so long, see you later on down the road etc. It was fun to keep in touch.
We got on the road shortly after 11am heading to Plattsville, stopped to top up our propane and add a bit of gas to the coach. Arrived in Plattsville about 1:15 pm, all set up  satellite dish included.
here we are again
pretty windy day here
Change our clothes (to look presentable) and down to the funeral home in town. A friend I have known since 1982 suddenly passed away. We really had to go for the visitation have known the whole family all those years. Almost feel like family to us as well. Funeral visitations are not fun, but is a celebration of their life. That's the way I want to be remembered, I have had an awesome life so far. Always meet people at these things that we have not seen for a long time as well, nice to reconnect again.
After an hour or so back home, relax in the shade, but a NE wind keeps us on our toes. Right on the patio side of our coach even though pretty warm, we decided not to use our Weber Q tonight. We have lots leftovers so a fettucini  alfredo with mushrooms, onions, garlic and chicken . Also made a garlic bun with cheese and a small salad.
no fancy sauce for us,
this does the trick
easy quick supper and so tasty
We here for about a week, doctors appointments, service our coach and Father's Day , get it all done while we are here.
Thanks for taking the time to stop in today, nice to be on the move again.

    1. Thank you , but they should be celebrations of life, not sad times, need to keep these upbeat and the memories that we have.

  4. We've had more than our share of rain over the last couple of days too. I'm tired of it but glad the sun will start rolling back in tomorrow.

  5. Sorry about the loss of your friend. It is too bad that funerals are what seems to bring people together. People need to do that more when the people are alive, but somehow life seems to get in the way sometimes.

    1. Yes it is a shame, but we have seen them frequently over the years and kept in touch.

  6. You guys are the movingest people I know and just the opposite of me - even though we will move every 7-10 days on our upcoming trip, I'm more of a stay at least a month in each place guy.
