Pretty cool overnight but sure had a great sleep with the windows open a bit we comfy cozy. 42f outside at 5:45 am and not much more than that until about noon.Just add a layer or 2 for my walkabouts and all was good. Again lots of squirrels in the valley this morning I counted 13 as I took this picture below. Some in the trees.
the squirrels are still here |
After lunch a quick run to Strathroy for a few supplies needed for this weekend mostly because the weather was still kinda cool and yucky so may as well. Gonna get nicer later and the next few days so don't want to go far away.
After a few more walkabouts sunshine warmed things up and we outside enjoying our e-readers under our new awning.

this awning was made May 24th 2016 in Indiana the day after it was ordered |
so nice and clean, even smells new |
afternoon sun in trees |
All done to perfection by 6 pm. |
added a fresh made salad sure did the trick again |
huge thigh bone into the freezer, for a future soup stock |
Finally called it a night about 9:15pm getting pretty cool anyway. Finish posting our blog. What a wonderful fun day we had.

DeleteNice awning. The way you have it in the picture, you must be expecting rain.
ReplyDeleteI usually keep it that way in case of rain and for maximum shade, one end high for the door.
