This morning nice and mild as the sun is rising. My first walkabout by the ponds I spotted the Canada Geese that I could not find yesterday. I thought that the had flown the coup, they are back !The two families still here |
Home for lunch then enjoy some reading in the shade on a wonderful afternoon. Shortly after 2 pm I hit the fitness centre here for a nice workout, feels so good to get that done too.
About 4 our good friends Emile and Monique, that just got back here yesterday dropped in for "Happy Hour" catch up with our travels the last while, until it started to sprinkle a bit. That's ok at least we got our hour in, lol...
Monique and Emile |
Easy and quick |
Not so healthy, but oh so tasty |
That was it for a delightful day here, enjoying this wonderful warm weather. Always manage to keep busy without even trying.
Thanks for stopping in for a visit.
Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this summer
Crikey ..... you have peanut butter on your hot DOGS!!!!!! Mum reckons that VERY weird!! Sounds alright to me. I LOVE peanut butter but why do they call those things hot DOGS?? Those geese wouldn't have come back if I were around.
ReplyDeletePeanut butter is good on a lot of things, mum should try it sometime, These hot dogs remind me of them weiner dogs ya know,
DeleteCrikey ... mum hasn't had a hot dog since she was in the US in 1990 but the next time she has one she's going to try the peanut butter thing. Wonder if it works on sausage sanga's. They are big time in Aussie land. She might make a fortune if she starts a new craze with sausage sanga's with peanut butter, aye!
DeleteThe sausage sanga sounds wonderful, try peanut butter on it too, I think it would be a hit Charlie.
DeleteI agree ... peanut butter on your hot dogs?? The geese were waiting until the coast was clear but they miscalculated.
ReplyDeleteIf you like peanut butter why not, bet you have never tried it.
DeleteI've never heard of peanut butter on hot dogs. The rest I'm with you on. It looks very verdant where you are now. Similar to here in the summer.
ReplyDeleteI know a lot of people that like peanut butter on lotsa things. Yes Anna it is very verdant all arund this area, love it !
DeleteIf you ever get lonely for geese, just ask. I can send you a couple dozen from this area.
ReplyDeleteWe have more Geese than we care for don't need anymore thanks. They few make enough of a mess as it is.
DeleteWe love a juicy hot dog occasionally, must get some oork and beans now. Peanut butter is very popular in Indonesian dishes as well, and I can imagine it would be great on a hot dog.
ReplyDeleteI agree, a hotdog can be enjoyable on occasion and peanut is good on lots things too. Even though I am not Indonesian.
DeleteLove the Weber 'Q'. Have had the soam oe for years. Have replaced the griddle top once. Do you know that Lodge makes a two sided cast iron grill tha tfits the Q like it was made for it? I've seen them at Home Despot...
ReplyDeleteGene
Still our original grill after 7 years does a wonderful job, Thanks for the tip on the Lodge grill.
DeletePB on hotdogs is almost as strange as a friend of ours loves gravy on his apple pie! Good thing we all can have what we like. :c)
ReplyDeleteYep each to their own, not a fan of gravy too much, maybe a bit on meat or potatoes. Apple pie I like a good aged cheddar.
DeleteGuess I won't write my thoughts about the peanut butter as everyone else has... except to add that I don't even like peanut butter cookies, let alone anyway else... and I'm not even allergic to peanuts! But what the heck, PB is good for you, so why not?
ReplyDeleteNo problem each to their own, Suzie never liked peanut butter at all until recently, I guess I was a bad influence, lol....
