Where are we today ?

Hey its cold this morning and actually almost all day. Got into the mid 50's F. But no problem we just add a layer and head on outside, could be a heck of a lot worse.Got a few early walkabouts enjoying the fresh air, and peaceful campground, all the weekenders are gone, nice !
Then shortly after 9 am did a quick trip to Strathroy for some needed food stuff home by 10:30 and a nice light lunch hit the spot.
I have a small project today. The new toilet I installed last year is rocking and rolling. So removed it checked out the problem. Simple fix. The shim I made was a bit small so made another and grabbed a new wax seal, cleaned things up and should be good to go for a long time yet, we hope. Great inside job for a cool overcast day.
Then eventually got to enjoy our e-readers outside, still cool but can deal with that, at least did not need gloves to read.

Then fun time for me prepared supper! Tonight a couple codfish fillets on our Weber Q, just done on foil with some Old Bay Seasoning. That's all we need on it and a very healthy meal to go with our tasty green salad, and some of our seafood salad that we so enjoy.

We even found it on the cool side today but that's suppose to change by the weekend so we can all feel better.

Summer soon here...
DeleteSometimes those relaxing days are much needed. It's nice to be able to putter around without doing too much at times.
ReplyDeleteWe like to putter around and not do much quite frequently, because we can. Do get our exercise though.
DeleteSummer is soon here only one more week to go and then it'll warm up. At least it'd happening over here. Luckily we are not getting too warm, only around 20-25C and a light breeze off the water. Love that.
ReplyDeleteYes it will be a wonderful summer this year I am sure. Nothing like being by a large body of water on the hot summer days, I spent 10 years of my childhood, on the great lakes in Ontario.
