Where are we today ?
Hey guess what? I woke up at 4:30 this morning like usual and all is good. Yep still dark and still pretty warm, looked like it was raining a bit. Now at night I don't wear my hearing aides so always have a really good sleep. (don't hear nothing!)Now by 7:30 the natives are stirring (Suzie) and I heard we had a major storm last night! Thunder, lightning, heavy rain and a wonderful light show about 2:30 am. and I missed the whole thing.
After everybody is mobile we went next door to visit Randy, Gail and Hailey. Coffees and chat, then we just did quick trip to the Arkona Market for a few things.
Suzie and Hailey she got her doggie Fix |
We both had things to do today so got our chores done. Walkabouts by the Rock Glen Falls across the road and other things to do.
Rock Glen Falls are roaring ! |
Once again the weather guessers screwed up in our favor, no rain all day long. So we got to enjoy our books outside for a while until Rob and Pat dropped in for a final social hour. They are leaving in the morning and we will probably not see them again until sometime later this year or early next year, depending on our travel schedules that are written in chalk.
Now time to whip up supper. Tonight is a tasty spaghetti squash that we love to do, especially when we can buy them for only $1.00 each. No Weber Q tonight sorry.
For the recipe look at my recipe Blog or just click here.
love this spaghetti dinner that does not overfill you |
Dinner done and our friends returned home and came to visit for a while. Nice to chat for a bit more on this non rainy, rainy day we had.
