Hey I slept in this morning!! Just after 5 am I jumped outta bed and felt like I missed part on my day. But no problem here no sunrise yet and supposed to be a cloudy day. Hmm. No probelem we have stuff to do, anyway.Got my coffees and computing done then headed for my first walkabout, not too cool with next to no wind and the sunshine trying to break through the clouds.
sunrise does not look promising, but really had a great day |
Nothing on the agenda today looks like we can enjoy another great warm sunny day. Outside most of the day and almost surprised not one person we saw outside all day long. But this is pretty much the norm for rv parks we have found. Too bad, the weather was awesome.
After lunch I did a quick drive around by the golf course clubhouse, (they are renovating), same company that bought this park. And of course a few more walkabouts. Check our tires and oil, stowed our Weber Q. And had a nice long hot shower enjoying the amazing soft water they have here.
Once done that Suzie clean our house top to bottom washed the floors smells like a brand new house!
maybe cherry blossoms ? |

Where have we been this winter ?
Five in the morning! No wonder you get so much done. I get up with the sun. Wonder why people don't go outside at RV parks. We sure do when boondocking, don't we?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset pictures again. Safe travels tomorrow.
Thanks Doug.
DeleteYes in the desert usually 4 am, I like to be ready to get things done when the sun comes up. Don't understand that as well but we do find that year round in most parks year round.
Love the sunset pictures. Odd that folks don't go outside more often on such wonderful days. However locals probably find it cold and so staying inside would be the answer I suppose. Looks like a nice big spot you have, love that grass.
ReplyDeleteThat tree in blossom is probably an apple tree, cherry would be more pinky I think. Just love those blossoms though, they certainly do tell us spring is coming. I hope it gets to Ontario soon.
Safe travels tomorrow!!!
Thanks Deb, Most of the people camped here have out of state licence plates so don't think they local.
DeleteOk then Apple tree, I can't tell its just nice to see the blossoms it would be nice if it warms up there soon.
That tree looks like a Bradford pear. They are blooming everywhere around here.
DeleteKay Smith
Thanks Kay, you live in the area guess you should know.
DeleteI always wondered why so many RV'ers never leave their rigs also. Why bother going anywhere. Oh well like they say different strokes for different folks
ReplyDeleteThant's true Jo everyone
DeleteWe love our coach and it is very comfortable, but we enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and exercise it is much healthier.
Sounds like you and Suzie had a nice relaxing time parked at the Whitney Resort. Nice that the weather cooperated always a plus. Safe Travels has you continue on tomorrow. Great sunset pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb, it has been a wonderful relaxing a time here and very nice weather , no complaints. A short travel day today, but another nice campground.
DeleteGorgeous cherry blossoms! Not to mention the sunset! WOW.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys it was a wonderful day.
DeleteThat looks like a nice membership park we'll have to keep it in mind.
ReplyDeleteTravel safe today and may the warm weather continue to follow you as you head towards Ontario.
Love seeing the trees in blossom and spring flowers.
Thanks Patsy
DeleteThe park is tired like I said, nicer than it was years ago, but free camping and we do enjoy the area.
Hoping to see more spring flowers again soon.
Okay, I admit I tried the english muffin sandwich and it was delicious! Who knew you didn't need to use regular bread? So I imagine those hot dog buns were really good!!
ReplyDeleteThe English muffins I find are more useful, light and tasty.
DeleteHot dog buns for garlic bread work for us, one way to use them up.
Love the cherry blossom tree. It makes you think it's spring!
ReplyDeleteYes it sure does!
DeleteGreat use of the morning to get the rig ready for heading out. Safe Travels to your next destination.
DeleteNice to get a few things done at a time.
DeleteThe hot dogs called, said their buns are missing. :c)
ReplyDeleteI heard them but we can always get more.
